Why not! A review thread for all the recent games I've playedπ§΅
I recently got a gaming pc and a free month of game pass so I've been trying out more than usual:
DARK SOULS (Remastered): 8/10
Truly inspiring map design. Very glad to have finally got around to beating this, returned after ~10 months to beat the final two bosses and didn't have as hard a time as I was expecting. Would NOT recommend playing without the wiki!

HOLLOW KNIGHT: SILKSONG: 9/10
A worthy sequel. I actually enjoyed the difficulty; beat with no nail upgrades and got the most out of the bosses that way. Great at making you feel like you're escaping the map. Would be a 10 if not for the progression-halting breakable walls π‘
@LKSGNA There's a fair bit of post-s5 revisionism for season 4, but the awesome sense of scale it was able to create is genuinely impressive. Would have made a good final season
@Chuberdunkus2 Her expression as she left the house made me wonder if it was all an act - a way to write herself out and live in isolation forever. Maybe I'm reading too much into it
@JayExci@chuchu_hedera The question is vague enough that everyone can interpret the context in a different way, allowing each side to frame themselves as morally righteous. I just think saying either side is morally condemnable for either outcome is like blaming the victims in a saw trap
@JayExci@chuchu_hedera Whoever creates the situation starts the train.
In the original, the orchestrator says 'I'm going to kill everyone who presses blue, unless the majority press it.'
In this analogy: 'my train will run over everyone in its path, unless the majority of you stand on the track.'
Yes, if everyone is suddenly teleported to a voting booth and cannot strategize beforehand, pressing blue is the right option.
BUT if we had any chance to consider the upcoming vote as a species, surely we should all agree to press red. Zero risk for anyone. Am I crazy here?
Everyone in the world has to take a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press?
