@fakehistoryhunt The trouble is that "Gogh" starts with a "G", so I want to say it. It would have been better if he spelled his name with a cough drop instead.
Yeah, that's what I need, X. For a post from Elon Musk (I don't follow him) to show up in my notifications that simply reads, "Just wow ..." Maybe stick to notifications about posts from accounts I follow? And if you're going to force others on me, maybe make them interesting?
@cwarzel Well, it's not like they could get an actual photo of Trump holding a kitten. Trump would undermine their message by taking a bite out of the cat before the photographer would be ready. Dude loves eating kittens. Known fact.
@dggoldst I've been using Kagi instead of Google, which at least cuts down on garbage results I need to sift through. They have an LLM I can query, and there are definitely some good results for certain subjects, but I end up verifying sources just as much as I would with a general search.
@fakehistoryhunt I'm wondering about the building behind the weirdly seated Founding Fathers. A mausoleum? Why do only some of them get a table? Why does it have a tablecloth outside?
@GailSimone Shows should consider swapping casts now and then to mix things up. I would have liked to have seen an episode of 60 Minutes hosted by the Munsters.
@MattBinder At least it looks like Trump has a fallback career for after he loses - that quote would be right at home on the back of a smutty romance novel.
@5afe_@BobbyBigWheel@dappergander There isn't a crown in The Last Supper, either. Though I admit, the way it looks to me was that the headpiece on the person in the middle was a misdirect - get people thinking about Last Supper, then make it clear that it was Feast of the Gods.
@upine @RottenInDenmark Haidt using bad sources doesn't put the onus of disproving his assertions on everyone else. It means he didn't prove his assertions. Besides, what he mentions can have other causes - e.g., social clustering of a stigma can be from those clusters being more accepting than others.
@emptywheel Trump being Trump, it's hard to tell if using Jackson means there really is some finding that they don't want to be made public, or if the issue is that Trump doesn't trust anyone who isn't an absolute kiss-ass to put out a statement for him regardless of how good or bad it is.
