Thank you to @CMC_MarineCorps Gen. Eric M. Smith for meeting with members of the For Country Caucus.
We’re grateful to Gen. Smith and to every @USMC Marine who serves each day to defend our nation and protect the freedoms and liberties we hold dear.
Last week, the Chairman of Ukraine's Parliament awarded the Ukrainian Badge of Honour "for our freedom and yours" to eight U.S. Members of Congress — three Republican senators, @SenArmstrong, @SenJohnCurtis, @SenThomTillis, and a bipartisan group of five representatives, @RepWesleyBellMO, @RepJimCosta, @RepVindman, including members of the @BipartisanVets: @RepDonBacon and @RepCarbajal.
The delegation traveled to Kyiv with With Honor for the @yes_ukraine Annual Meeting, as Russian strikes intensified against civilian infrastructure. They walked past gas stations and grocery stores hit days earlier. Part of the group went on to Kharkiv to meet frontline medics. As they departed, a Russian drone struck a rail line minutes behind the train carrying officials out, two kilometers from the Polish border. On the ground in Ukraine, they saw firsthand why the $400M in appropriated security assistance for this year can't sit on the sidelines. It's time to move this funding so Ukraine has the equipment and support it needs.
The visit was timely, with the House of Representatives voting on the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act this week. The Senate passed this bill in August with an overwhelmingly bipartisan vote of 86-11. We encourage the House to pass this bill, which is a significant step toward further assistance for Ukrainian partners.

Peace requires strength. The Caucus proudly endorses the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act to cut off the money fueling Putin’s war, crack down on Russia’s shadow fleet, and hold the largest buyers of Russian energy accountable. @RepMcCaul
I thank the For Country Caucus @BipartisanVets for endorsing the bipartisan, bicameral Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act. The Senate passed the bill 86-11, and we’re working to get it across the finish line in the House.

Twenty-five years ago, our nation was forever changed.
Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on 9/11/ 2001, honor the first responders who ran toward danger, and recognize the service members who answered the call in the years that followed.
We will never forget.
Thank you to Blue Star Families CEO Kathy Roth-Douquet and her team for joining Caucus members to discuss military quality of life, veteran suicide prevention, and other priorities that strengthen our military families and support those who serve.
Blue Star Families, a growing community of more than 250,000 online members advocating for military families and helping Congress better understand what our troops and their loved ones need, presented at our For Country Caucus meeting.
Behind every uniform is a family making sacrifices, too. Their service, strength, and commitment deserve our deepest gratitude and full support.
The For Country Caucus is proud to endorse the GRACE for Military Survivors Act.
No family should be forced to make major survivor benefit decisions while grieving the loss of a loved one in the line of duty. This bipartisan bill gives families more time.
The path to a stronger America begins with American innovation and American resources. It was a pleasure to hear from @VulcanElements, a North Carolina company helping advance the development of America's critical minerals, during a For Country Caucus briefing.
Their work showcases how North Carolina's ingenuity is strengthening our national security, expanding economic opportunity, and building more resilient domestic supply chains that reduce our reliance on foreign sources.
For families reeling from the loss of a loved one who served our country, rigid, rushed deadlines shouldn't be how a nation shows gratitude to those who pay the ultimate price for their country. It's time to give our military families the grace they deserve.
The GRACE for Military Survivors Act, led by @BipartisanVets members and Vietnam veterans @RepThompson and @RepJackBergman, would extend the window the families of fallen service members have to contribute military death gratuities and Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance (SGLI) benefits to a Roth IRA or Coverdell Education Savings Account before facing tax penalties.

As veteran @RepJenKiggans knows personally, military aviators push themselves to the extreme to protect our nation.
That's why she, along with fellow @BipartisanVets member @RepGoodlander, introduced the WINGS Act in the House to prioritize the health and safety of our aviators and ensure the impacts of military aviation are properly studied.
250 years ago, a group of settlers and soldiers had an idea. That idea grew into a nation that forever changed the world. For generations, America has stood as a beacon of freedom, opportunity, and hope.
Today, we look back with gratitude and we look forward to prosperity.
Pleased to join several of my colleagues from @BipartisanVets for a conversation tonight at the Library of Congress about the role of courage in public service. Thanks to @IgnatiusPost for moderating.
The For Country Caucus met with Michael Peterson, Chairman and CEO of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, to discuss the growing national debt and its implications for our national security.
Fiscal responsibility is not just an economic concern. It’sa national security imperative.
Congressman August Pfluger has been an outspoken leader for airpower prioritization in this year's National Defense Authorization Act.

Vietnam veteran @RepJackBergman joined members of the @BipartisanVets at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall Cleaning to honor those who served, those who sacrificed, and those whose names are forever etched into our nation’s memory.
Their service reminds us of our enduring responsibility to remember, honor, and carry forward their legacy.
To the eastern North Carolina families spending another Memorial Day with an empty seat at the table, please know that our nation stands with you, prays with you, and honors the sacrifice your families carry every single day.
"Mankind must put an end to war or war will put an end to mankind."
Yesterday, With Honor Action and two dozen bipartisan veteran Members of @BipartisanVets cleaned the Vietnam Veterans Memorial together, putting politics aside to honor and remember the 58,318 names of the men and women who gave their last full measure of devotion to our country.
Watch memorable moments from Co-Chairs @RepDonDavis and @RepEllzey, as well as remarks from the last three Vietnam veterans in Congress @RepJimBaird, @RepThompson, and @RepJackBergman.
I had the humbling opportunity to join my colleagues in @BipartisanVets to help clean the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
As we cleaned the surface, it wasn’t lost on me that this simple act was a small way to preserve the memory of those who never came home. It was a moment of reflection, gratitude, and reverence.
We owe these heroes more than words. We owe them respect and a commitment to live lives worthy of their sacrifice.
