@fimantronia@ryderles2dimen1@FellaHrx69 Yeah, it's totally the few obsolete munitions Iran has been handing over to Russia and totally not the fact that Iran is at war with the only country bankrolling their entire existence as a country. No good dog bites the hand that feeds it, it's not a hard concept to parse π
@teortaxesTex It's an economics thing. Their advantage is on the bleeding edge (and for Anthropic, the fact that Claude doesn't feel like a braindead talking microwave), so they can charge whatever the fuck they want, no open weights truly competes at the top end. Not so on the mid range.
@Gerrylwk@paradite_ I mean yeah it should unless you fucked up the implementation, but temp for most models is supposed to be kept at like .3 even for coding to prevent greedy decoding
@mholt6 Solid state storage becomes more expensive bc it's flash, people still need storage but sometimes speed is just nice to have, so people reluctantly start buying HDDs instead, demand goes up so price does too.
@bigseb31213 Books being popular doesn't mean they're good. Look at Atlas Shrugged, it's the worst piece of shit ever put to paper and people treat it as the right wing's 1984 (or the libertarian Farenheit 451, depending on who is talking)
@danishacarterr fent is incredibly strong and you need a very low dose to kill a dude if he hasn't built up opiod resistance, now why would you expect a detroit crackhead to practice good cross-contamination prevention procedures when cooking up some meth or whatever
@Henry_White1996 No, it really isn't "extremely effective". Why should they go to the US Gov't? Do you dumbasses think they only scraped American-made content?
@HarvesterStallo That is obviously not what was said though?
"I don't actually know her personally (said bc why did she know she stayed as postmistress for years?), I found this by chance about to be thrown out, the past was truly worse than the present".
That is a normal reply, like what?
