Just yesterday afternoon, we published an investigation titled “How Russia Is Scaling the Use of Starlink on Strike Drones and Circumventing Sanctions”, and only a few hours later Russian drones controlled via Starlink attacked a passenger train.

We remind that, technically, SpaceX has the capability to selectively disable its terminals. In September 2023, media reports stated that in 2022 Elon Musk secretly ordered Starlink satellite communications to be switched off in the area of temporarily occupied Crimea in order to disrupt a Ukrainian operation involving naval drones targeting Black Sea Fleet vessels in the bays of temporarily occupied Sevastopol.
What prevents the detection of Starlink-equipped drones flying deep into Ukrainian territory and the selective disabling of their connectivity, if this is technically possible?

On December 5, 1994, the UK, the US and #Russia signed the Budapest Memorandum — security assurances in exchange for #Ukraine giving up the world’s third-largest nuclear arsenal. Those ‘assurances’ weren’t worth the paper they were written on.
For those who, in light of recent news, are looking into the #Russian#military unit 26165, we also recommend checking InformNapalm’s archived publications:

Hungarian drones spotted violating Ukrainian airspace — @ZelenskyyUa
Zelenskyy reported incidents along the Ukrainian-Hungarian border where reconnaissance drones entered Ukraine. Preliminary data suggests they were Hungarian, scouting industrial capacity in border regions.
InformNapalm has earlier exposed Hungary as a hub for sanctions evasion serving Russia’s military industry and as a safe ground for Russian intelligence operations: https://t.co/an3q2zfyfv
On August 21, Russia struck an enterprise in Mukachevo, Zakarpattia. It cannot be ruled out that Russian agents in Hungary are now using drones to collect data for future strikes on Ukrainian industry and logistics routes.
This calls for not only #Ukraine’s vigilance but also urgent #NATO counter-intelligence measures inside #Hungary, where the current leadership often aligns with Moscow’s interests.
Gear-shaping #sanctions at work: leaked #documents reveal the critical state of #Russia’s aviation industry.

This article presents one such document, dated September 24, 2024, titled “Diagnostics report on gear-shaping equipment,” prepared by the Russian enterprise OOO OKBM, which collaborates with the aircraft manufacturing concern JSC Yakovlev.
Until July 2023, Yakovlev was known as Irkut and is part of the Russian United Aircraft Corporation. It is responsible for designing the MC-21 and SJ-100 aircraft. Following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Yakovlev has faced sanctions from 27 EU countries, the United States, and several other nations.
🧵/ link in the last post. Have you ever wanted to know where the infamous Russian 'Rubicon' drone center is based – and who commands it? Thanks to my colleagues @pustota, @legal0ve, and open sources (including Russian Tsar-Propagandist Vladimir Solovyov), we now know.
@donaldtusk We’re waiting for the news. And if our Polish friends want to take revenge on the Russians, they can always support the Ukrainian Armed Forces — the best army in Europe, which isn’t afraid to strike Russians, even on their own territory.
Today our readers reminded us of a milestone: 10 years ago, InformNapalm published one of our first #OSINT maps and databases documenting Russian military units involved in the hybrid aggression against #Ukraine in #Donbas.
https://t.co/2kCAPQBAK3
Even then, the geography was striking — from the permanent bases of identified Russian units inside the Russian Federation to the geolocations in Donbas where their servicemen were recorded. The scope of evidence was already clear.
InformNapalm was the first international volunteer intelligence community to document these facts so extensively. That work later became part of the evidence base for international courts, including the largest inter-state case “Ukraine and the Netherlands vs. #Russia” at the European Court of Human Rights, which reached its landmark judgment this past July.
OSINT and evidence collection is painstaking work. For years, it may look like small fragments, scattered puzzle pieces. But with time and historical perspective, those fragments become the foundation of justice and accountability.
We share this especially for those who only began following the war in 2022, or who discovered OSINT investigations only recently. Let it serve as a reminder: don’t burn out, don’t stop collecting the crumbs of information. Even when attention fades and facts seem overlooked, in the long run, every piece matters. This is how the true history of the Russian-Ukrainian war — which began in 2014 and continues today — is being written.
To all who have read and shared InformNapalm since 2014, and to those who joined us later: thank you. You are the community that helps us carry the flame that pushes back the darkness. 🔥
Under #Orbán’s leadership, #Hungary has effectively become a satellite and ally of #Russia, sabotaging the work of the EU and NATO from within, passing intelligence to Moscow, and joining a unified information front with the Kremlin. The strikes on the Russian “Druzhba” oil pipeline only exposed what had been building for years, making Orbán’s and Szijjártó’s cooperation with the Russian regime more transparent.
In the event of a direct NATO–Russia confrontation, if Orbán remains in power, it will have dire consequences: Moscow’s satellites inside the Alliance will be able to slow down decision-making, veto actions, and buy time for the Russian army. #NATO and the #EU must already develop mechanisms to minimize the risks of such sabotage and intelligence leaks through Hungary to Russia.
🚨 Leaked document exposes #Hungary as Kremlin’s Trojan horse inside the #EU
While most EU nations stand with Ukraine and enforce sanctions, Hungary has become a gateway for #Moscow to bypass restrictions and push its military-industrial interests.
A newly obtained letter reveals the “Ansat” project — a scheme discussed at the Hungarian government level with Russia’s state-owned Helicopters of Russia. The plan: to use Hungary as a platform for legalizing and assembling Russian military equipment and then exporting it under a “European” label.
Key facts confirmed by the document:
The project was presented to Hungary’s Ministry of Finance and discussed by the government.
A joint working group was formed with Hungarian officials (including a deputy state secretary of the Ministry of Finance & Economy).
Coordination of the process was entrusted to Armitech Industries Ltd. in Budapest — openly lobbying Russian interests.
This proves that, even after sanctions, Russia was actively building sanctions-busting corridors inside the EU, and Hungary emerged as the Kremlin’s weakest link.
👉 Every time #Orbán blocks EU aid to Ukraine or vetoes #NATO decisions, remember: it’s not just politics — it’s direct collusion with Russia’s sanctioned defense industry.
