So crazy that Ukraine could have made a much better peace deal if we had let them do it a couple weeks after the war started, when Russia was ready to fall back to pre-invasion lines in exchange for Ukraine not joining NATO. We pressured Zelensky (who originally ran on a peace platform) to reject the offer. Now Ukraine stands to lose far more territory after hundreds of billions of dollars and tens of thousands of unnecessarily lost lives. Thanks Tony Blinken.
