@ostermayer@fold_app Why would Fold offer that? That would mean they are listening to their customers. After Fold Reserve I’m convinced they don’t actually care about what their customers want. Why you continue to use Fold when Strike and CashApp don’t have 7 day holds or ask for 5k unsecured loans
@fold_app reintroduced instant Bitcoin, a feature they had 2024/2025 before they instituted unpopular one week hold on Bitcoin buys. I’ve already moved btc buys to Cash App. Reintroducing an old feature like it’s new is a stupid marketing scheme. Fold continues to miss the mark
@TheGofCrypto@fold_app You’re still using Fold after they screwed customers with FOLD Reserves smh Strike and River have higher rates just saving fiat and getting 3.6% btc rewards. I don’t trust Fold anymore
@BuyTheDip71@Pledditor@fold_app@willreeves Look at their Q1 report. If you leave a 5k with Fold Reserve you’re an unsecured creditor ala Celsius. We see how that played out. Fold App doesn’t understand Bitcoiners. I withdrew all my money and Bitcoin yesterday, I’m done with them. I don’t like the direction they are going
@jayrcunningham@fold_app You clearly didn’t read the terms. Ask different Ai models for a risk assessment of Fold Reserve noting 5k deposits requirements, term language, and FTX/Celsius precedent. Fold wants 5k at 0% and it wants you to be an unsecured creditor so they can speculate with those funds
@willreeves@fold_app@Ionic_mia I withdrew everything. I’m done. You must of forgotten “Don’t trust VERIFY” Your Q1 report is public. None of us think the risk you’re asking is worth 0.25%, “no spread,” “no fees.” You doing understand Bitcoiners if you thought we weren’t gonna model out your marketing lies
@knorrium@fold_app@willreeves@knorrium ask Claude or any decent Ai model to compare Fold+ to Fold Reserve. Ask if it benefits you based off your monthly spend. Ask it to read the terms and service. Remember Blockfi, Celsius, and FTX. Fold wants you to be an unsecured creditor while they speculate
@krugbot@fold_app@willreeves@YodaB420@Ionic_mia@grok And that was the point of my initial tweets, Fold does not understand its customers. Most of us will do the math, most of us will fact check with AI, and most of us have options for where to park our money. Fold Reserve increases our risk with little financial upside. Hard pass!
@fold_app@willreeves@YodaB420@Ionic_mia@grok You are contradicting what is written in the updated terms. How is Reserve a stored value account when terms says “ Your Reserve is not redeemable directly for cash" and Fold offers no transfer "to a bank account, including your Fold Spending Account.” Ai will fact check you
@willreeves@fold_app@YodaB420@Ionic_mia@grok@willreeves Your Reserve terms, updated today, say Reserve value "is not redeemable directly for cash" and Fold offers no transfer "to a bank account, including your Fold Spending Account." The app shows "Transfer to cash." Which governs? If the button is real, update the terms.
@fold_app@willreeves@YodaB420@Ionic_mia@grok@willreeves Then why does the updated Terms as of 10/01/26 say: Fold "does not offer any direct withdrawal or transfer of Fold Reserve value to a bank account," that Reserve "may lose value," and that in an insolvency you'd be a "general unsecured creditor." Absolutely NOT!
@willreeves@fold_app@YodaB420@Ionic_mia@grok@willreeves Claude broke down your argument. It’s clear that Fold Reserve only benefits Fold and leaves customers as unsecured creditors with 5k of depreciating capital. I remember Celsius Celsius and I refuse to be an unsecured creditor. Fold Reserve is a subpar product
