@ryankatzrosene You seem to be claiming that despite TSI levels in 2023 and 2024 being the highest for…🥁🥁🥁THOUSANDS of years, that had no impact on global temperature recorded post HHTH. If that summation is correct, please explain your thesis.
@misterduncan@HuppenthalJohn What a complete crock of doodoo. Grant money grubbing with an unfalsifiable claim that is clearly contradicted by every metric available.
The climate has been anything but stable during the Holocene. Species don’t seem have any problem adapting but I agree that societies are going to crash hard at some point, probably in not too distant future, just like they have about every 1000 years* due to rapidly falling temperatures. Notice where we are on this solar activity curve. Also notice what happens after every rapid rise.
*Eddy solar cycle
This graphic is completely out of date. The one I posted has the revised TSI data (NNLTSI1). Notice that 2023 and 2024 are the highest in the record, and there are several studies that indicate we’re at or very close to the highest point in the Holocene. Also the LIA, Medieval Warm Period, Roman Warm Period, and one coinciding with the Egyptian Empire, etc. Link below.

@hellnasker@ClimateBen Have you ever looked at earth history? All of the last 300M years has been substantially warmer than today. In fact, as far as the biosphere is concerned, the warmer the better.
@CarbonBrief exists to provide BS science for the gullible illeratti and their climate propaganda is doing tremendous harm to the science community. Their report on polar bears is a shit storm of obfuscating facts about sea ice and fantasy predictions for possible declines in polar bear numbers decades into the future that are impossible to verify, but they leave out the most important fact…polar bear numbers are the highest ever recorded. Simply disgusting.
