@elricmann lol, obsidian is just markdown in a folder structure. You can put it in a git repo. It even has a git extension so you can do it inside the app. Retarded take

Okay.
The best and largest research on "gender-affirming care" over 8 years among adolescents have found that there was no improvement in mental health, but a 74% INCREASE in suicidality and "the most pronounced increases in mental healthcare were for adjustment, anxiety, mood, personality, psychotic disorders, and suicidal ideation/attempted suicide"

Dr. Riittakerrtu Kaltiala is a Finnish trained adolescent psychiatrist and is a pioneer of ‘Gender affirming care’ as she was one of the first physicians to head a clinic for ‘gender-distressed young people.’ She claims that from experience, GAC has caused much more harm than good for Adolescents. “Sometimes the young people insisted their lives had improved and they were happier. But as a medical doctor, I could see that they were doing worse. They were withdrawing from all social activities. They were not making friends. They were not going to school.”

"Studies presenting the benefits (of sex reassignment through medical intervention) to mental health, including those claiming that the services prevent suicide, are either low or very low quality and rely on unreliable methods such as surveys and retrospective analyses, both of which are cross-sectional and highly biased. Considering the weak evidence supporting the use of puberty suppression, cross-sex hormones, and surgical procedures when compared to the stronger research demonstrating the permanent effects they cause, these treatments do not conform to GAPMS (Generally Accepted Professional Medical Standards) and are experimental and investigational."

"The FDA also recently added a warning to its label that the "gender affirming" drugs can cause a dangerous swelling of the brain. Kuitenbrouwer and Vasterman also note concerns that the treatment can "interfere with the ability to make rational decisions."

A pharmaceutical company that marketed triptorelin as a puberty blocker funded the original study that led to 'gender-affirming care' for minors https://t.co/7uJmNPD0cX

Public services offering gender-affirming care to minors have rapidly expanded across Australia despite limited evidence of safety and efficacy. In Queensland, the number of gender services increased from 190 in 2017 to 922 in 2022, and in Victoria, it went from 472 in 2019 to 1290 in 2023. For Queensland, that is a 485% increase within those 5 years, and for Victoria, that is a 273% increase within those 4 years.
“The central principle of the gender-affirming model of care (GAMOC) is that all health clinicians have an ethical responsibility not to question or evaluate patient reported gender identity, even when that identity is unstable, changes rapidly, and is co-morbid with severe mental illness.”

The European Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (ESCAP) published a policy statement on child and adolescent gender dysphoria. Healthcare providers must not promote experimental and invasive treatments, such as transition surgery, with unproven psycho-social effects and must adhere to the “first, do no harm” principle. The poor reliability and instability of a gender dysphoria diagnosis in a child is why blocking puberty would have negative effects on the child’s psychosocial development. They also mention that some children may benefit from gender reassignment, however there is a lack of quality research to determine the risk-benefit ratio.

Gender medicine for children and young people is built on shaky foundations.
“The rationale for early puberty suppression remains unclear, with weak evidence regarding the impact on gender dysphoria and mental or psychosocial health. The effect on cognitive and psychosexual development remains unknown.”
“The use of masculinizing/feminizing hormones in those under the age of 18 also presents many unknowns, despite their long standing use in the adult transgender population.”

Lupron, used as chemical castration for violent sex offenders, is also used as a puberty blocker

A 2003 study in the New England Journal of Medicine concluded that some kids on drugs like Lupron developed osteopenia and lost too much bone density during a three-year course of treatment to justify the therapy. In other words, the lifetime risk of breaking a bone outweighed the reward of growing a bit taller.

Apple indeed added a feature called "inactivity reboot" in iOS 18.1. This is implemented in keybagd and the AppleSEPKeyStore kernel extension. It seems to have nothing to do with phone/wireless network state. Keystore is used when unlocking the device.
