Ring passing. First touch inside. Play forward. Finish the small goal. ⚽

Shooting drills don't have to be complicated.

They should be fast and fun.

Try this shooting drill, where players are constantly on the move:

Constant 4v2 | Playing Through the Press

⚽️ Created On: @SSPlanner

✅ Playing through a press.

🧱Set-Up:

☑️ On a 30 by 20 playing area split the pitch in half and section place a dashed line within each half to create a zone that locks in the out of possession teams spare defenders.

👕 Teams: ⚫️s vs 🔴s plus 🟢 (Support)

🗣️How to Play:

➡️ The starting possession team (⚫️s) connect 4 passes then looks to transfer the ball through the press to the opposite 🟢. This locks in a goal for the possession team.

➡️ The 🟢 who receives the through ball off the ⚫️s plays into the 🔴s who now become the possession team. Again they try to connect 4 passes then transfer the ball.

➡️ If the out of possession team win the ball they can pass it back to the 🟢 in the half where they won the ball who then trasfers it into their half to become the possession team.

➡️ When a team is out of possession the two players not chasing the ball can screen passes into the 🟢 as long as they are postioned between the dashed line and the halfway line. When they intercept it, they pass back to the 🟢 in their half to become the possession team.

🚧 Constraints:

🏆Reward: Allow the teams to press with three players - this means the possession team can play through to the 🟢 without the need for 4 passes.

👨‍🏫 Review: Composure to take a touch, leaving the ball playable for your teammates.

🚫 Restriction: touch restrictions on the possession team.
