Crypto is in a new bull market.
A Bitcoin OG wallet just moved all 600 $BTC ($51.28M) after over 14 years of inactivity!
The wallet received 600 $BTC ($4.8K at the time) 14 years ago, when $BTC was trading at just $8.
It's now sitting on a $51.28M unrealized profit — a 10,683x return!

Stamp ($Stamp) — @Zip227
Solana CA: EKtmPPLaCbEEKiwoHHtV7TsRsmPXs5CMGtQtZFSiinsc
- This is not an official Zcash token. It is the token the team is using to run a launchpad on Solana.
The product is fairly clear. Zcash does not yet allow custom shielded asset mints because ZIP-227 is still a draft and ZSAs are not live on mainnet. Stamp takes a shortcut: launch an SPL token, holders burn it, then a stamp is written on Zcash as a receipt of the amount destroyed. https://t.co/GihYSxXIxc is shipping the frontend, the launchpad, and $ZEC pairing. Put simply, they are selling a minting machine on Solana and using the Zcash narrative as the frame. They are not selling a live shielded asset. The chart is a brand-new token, a little over half a day old. Dex was paid around a $56.5k market cap, it ran to an ATH near $13–14M, then pulled back to roughly $3.6–5M depending on when you look. 24h volume is heavy, with some sources showing over $10M. Holders are around 10k. Pool liquidity is only a few hundred thousand. That is the usual structure after a vertical move: volume is still there, price has already given some back, and the book is thin relative to how many people are already in. The underlying trend is still an early pump, but this is no longer a discovery entry. It is post-ATH distribution and chop.
Upside depends on two things. If the launchpad works, stamps can be verified, the $ZEC pair pulls more volume, and the privacy narrative stays alive, the token can get spewed again when ZEC is hot. If it only lives as a Zcash named meme while ZSAs are still not out, upside is capped by attention, not by the protocol.
The risk sits in the same place. The token has already done a full first leg. Liquidity is thin versus volume. ZSAs do not exist on mainnet yet. The Zcash community is also unfriendly toward early mint projects.
There is a story to trade. There is not a story to call this long-term infrastructure
Alright, i'm shorting $ZEC
Garrett just turned $ZEC into a publicly visible dump button
CT cheered because Garrett went “bullish ZEC.” Wrong column.
He didn’t post 202k ZEC (~$300M) to tell retail to hold. He posted it to change the frame. The $33M loss on a 38k short is no longer the story. The new story is a wallet large enough to hit the book at any time — and now the entire market knows that wallet exists.
Before yesterday, retail was short-squeezing ZEC off Lookonchain. After yesterday, retail has to price in another variable: a top holder of ~1% of supply just doxxed his own bag. No rumor. No fake whale. The explorers are on the timeline.
That’s the psychological break.
Retail loves the “smart money is on our side” narrative. Garrett gave them half the truth: he has size in spot. Retail taped over the other half: size plus publicity equals a dump tool. Hedging 19% doesn’t lock the bag. It only locks a slice of the sale price. The other 80% is still floating inventory. One OTC print, a few deposits to Binance, or just the headline “Garrett is selling” is enough to pull bids on a thin ZEC book.
ZEC ran because perp float was tight and the privacy narrative was hot. That kind of tape dies from one thing: a large holder showing up on timeline. He doesn’t have to dump. Retail only has to believe he can. Bids lift. Trend longs get cut. Fresh shorts open. The bag’s existence is already resistance.
Don’t confuse “showing the bag” with “a pledge not to sell.” Whales flash bags when they want to:
• kill the liquidation meme
• signal they still have ammo
• and, more important, put the bid in their own hands
Retail will get there one candle late. That candle is usually the first red bar after the “bullish” post. Then nobody is arguing hedge vs naked short. The only question left is who provides liquidity for 200k ZEC if he wants out.
The right stance isn’t maxi-long ZEC because Garrett holds. It also isn’t all-in short because “the whale will dump.” The right stance is dropping the consensus fantasy. A public $300M bag is not a bid wall. It’s an option: hold and the narrative lives, sell and retail pays the print.
Garrett doesn’t need to dump today. Retail just needs to remember: the button is on the table now, and the whole timeline can see it
Garrett didn’t go “bullish ZEC” today.
He just got tired of CT reading his book wrong.
For weeks the timeline called him the ZEC short king. 38k $ZEC on Hyperliquid. ~$33–35M floating loss. Liq around $4,790. Liquidation memes ran all week.
Then Garrett dropped two explorer links.
202k ZEC withdrawn from Binance in Dec 2025. At current price that’s ~$300–320M. Roughly 1% of supply.
Short: 38k. Spot: 202k.
Do the math. The short covers ~19% of the bag. This is not a naked short. It’s a hedge. He picked an exit price on a slice of the stack without dumping 200k ZEC into the book.
CT sees -$33M and screams “wrecked.” Garrett sees +$300M spot and asks “which sleeve are you looking at?”
This is how a whale who’s already been publicly wrong at size behaves. Normal people close the short because it’s embarrassing. This guy adds margin, sells ETH to raise liq, then throws the spot wallets on timeline. The goal isn’t to convince you ZEC goes higher. The goal is to change the frame: stop defining the whole book by one perp sleeve.
Handle is Bullish. Stay silent while CT stamps “short king” on you and the brand dies. Flash the bag and you’re a holder again. The short becomes “risk management.” Cheap. Effective. Exactly how you trade when the chain is public.
Don’t canonize him. The short is still red. ETH still got sold to fund it. Nobody knows his true net delta, or whether every coin is actually his. But if you still think Garrett is all in short ZEC, you’re trading Lookonchain’s narrative, not the real book.
Whales don’t fear a losing sleeve. They fear the crowd mispricing the whole book.
Today Garrett didn’t call a ZEC buy. He just reminded everyone: you’re a lot poorer than he is, and you’re commenting on the wrong column.
