@RestIsPolitics@RoryStewartUK@campbellclaret@DanJoergensen Terribly one sided episode - no counter arguments presented at all. No mention of swapping oil dependency for China dependency (panels and batteries) or why the affluent countries should tell poor oil producers to leave money under the ground. No balance at all
@RestIsPolitics Firmly against this - there are huge and painful priorities for the Government and this risks being seen as killjoys vs ruthless recovery focus. Increase tobacco tax to make smokers pay is better. I am a non smoker
@BorisJohnson You just don’t get it do you? You opportunistically jumped into Brexit because of personal greed vs belief, became PM secured an annuity speaker career. Failed to do a viable Brexit, destroyed the Tories and your reputation through parties & corruption. You have no credibility
@campbellclaret@RoryStewartUK it seems clear that the Labour plan is not in fact to promise no increase to tax but promise no tax increase on “working people” so watch out for corporation tax, bank and oil companies taxes, inheritance tax, stamp duty, wealth taxes etc.
@JamesTCobbler I think the issue is the value of watches vs cost of repair plus issues like re water sealing / pressure testing etc. customers need certainty of quality / outcome / guarantee. Branding looks low quality?
@americanaUK Thank you for clarifying - it’s not that I agree or disagree with the issue but, by and large, the site is a (welcome) refuge from politics
@MickeyUndertone @nme1980s@TheUndertones_ I just meandered down memory lane with the help of google and found Neil Tennant ….. “… they make a lot less mistakes ….” How dare he ?!
@British_Airways@Avis@Budget so what is the point of preregistration for a car booked through BA holidays with Budget Avis when it means nothing - terrible queues, 2 staff, = avoid at all costs
@British_Airways@Avis Tenerife = a shambles. The preregistration is meaningless and the queues are ridiculous. The local team don’t care avoid at all costs
