Agent doesn't even realize he lost his weapon.

When one agent yells, "Gun!"—others get so confused pull out their own weapons.

They think man being detained has a gun—and nearly shoot him.

Agent then confronts witnesses on the sidewalk—with handgun still out in his hand.

People were just trying to help yelling, "He doesn't have a weapon!"

Hebert Ibarra Castro is a 20-year-old mariachi from San Antonio who was detained by ICE on his way home from performing at a birthday party.

Still in his mariachi attire, a detention facility worker taunted him: "If you sing me a song, I'll let you go." What was meant as mockery, mariachis across San Antonio have turned into an act of solidarity and are banding together to sing for his release.

ICE walked into the lobby of a mom-and-pop home improvement store in California.

No warrant.

The owner opened https://t.co/du9bv2U4pY, stayed calm, and held the line.

She legally refused ICE access to the back rooms and employee-only spaces.

ICE waited in the lobby.

They refused to leave.

So she closed the business, turned off the lights, and stood by the front door.

“Our business is closed to the public. We are asking all visitors to leave.”

Customers left.

Eventually, ICE left too.

An hour later, when they were gone, she reopened.

A free citizen.
A business owner.
A lawful refusal.
