How to Maintain an RNase-free Lab. "Human skin and body fluids such as saliva, tears and mucus, can contain RNases (so don't cry over your samples)."
Sound advice!❌😢
Congrats to my lab mate @heymattcowan on his team's win in the 2023 NSPN Science Policy Writing Competition. Proud to be in a lab where we are actively preparing for what's next in our scientific careers *and* the greater scientific community @drexel_coas

Cod gills - Adductor muscles. Fish can "cough" by contracting skeletal muscle fibers associated to gill filaments.
To the left is a mucosal epithelium, adductor muscle fibers to the middle, and afferent artery to the right.
Actin is orange and nuclei in blue.
Come check out my thesis work TODAY at 12:15-3:15! I’ll be recounting exciting tales of cell cartography at B531. Can’t wait to see you there! #ascb#cellbio2023
Wanna hear about fibroblasts with 2 distinct compartments [front & back] and looked at pretty pictures? Come check out P2246 on MON at 12:15-1:45 B531 to hear about my thesis work! #cellbio2023@ASCBiology#ASCB
