@TheCriticalDri2 You just sound bitter. Well, that’s your thing I guess and it’s entertaining at times, but people can still have legitimate criticisms without being jealous. F1 was a crap movie by many standards. Turned it off halfway through it was so boring and clichéd.
@Thejimpenman Tell that to my dad who takes the insult one step further, leaving multiple properties bought in the 80s, empty. Calls it land banking, and boy does he think he’s smart! Young in Australia being absolutely savaged. Drastic laws needed but good luck while boomers in majority.
@Bepfaube@sparbuchfeinde That’s right, the guy who’s 1980s place I’m trying to buy has been sitting on it empty for over 2 years. Many aren’t desperate for the money and they convince themselves rates will come down and the goose will return to laying. Meanwhile people pay through the nose in rent.
@sparbuchfeinde Just offered 250k for a 290k 1980s build in North Hessen. For many sellers, their rosy expectations are yet to meet reality. It’s not just the condition for me. If VW shrinks or fails, I don’t want to have paid over and above for what could soon be a rapidly depreciating asset.
@CaolanReports@TateTheTalisman You just have to ignore him. You give these morons more fuel by replying...and you cause them to come up in people's feeds that follow you. You change nothing by replying and just cause more people to see their posts.
@randomARK95@BonkDaCarnivore My dad owns a Tesla and after 6 years the battery is dead. Tesla replaced it with a recycled battery and there's 2 years left on the warranty, now with a recycled battery. He's less keen on Tesla now. People need time to find out. 3 years ago I had shares, now I have puts.
@realsashastone@CaseyPMoran The characters were meant to be cliched and stereotyped. The film was a commentary on contemporary political polarisation. It did focus on authoritarian threat, but also the lack of radical ideological coherency and showed how both sides perpetuated a state of senseless conflict.
@AvidCommentator They’re flailing. They don’t know how to police or address any part of the population that doesn’t respond to law or police. Just a further step down the road of two-tier policing that will adversely affect freedom of speech for the majority without addressing Islamic beliefs.
@talkingcockatoo@AvidCommentator My experience is the opposite. I think a lot depends on how you earn a living and what your priorities are. Life in Germany is A LOT cheaper if you don’t have to live in the biggest, most popular cities.
@BagGlamour@AvidCommentator If you can’t afford to own, but want to have a garden then you are simply stupid. That’s a beaut of a ‘fair go’ attitude from an ‘Aussie’.
