🚨BREAKING: A Polymarket user put $20 on UNDER 7.5 runs in Yankees–Rays at 0.1% odds after a home run made it 4-4...
Officials then overturned the HR for fan interference & no more runs scored, turning $20 into $20,000.
Ive been a founder 3x. One of the hardest parts of building in this new world is realizing how much my past success can get in the way.
On a panel yesterday, someone asked what I’m doing to become an “AI native” founder.
These are the seven things I’m trying to practice 🧵
i usually go to stuff like othership in nyc cuz it’s one of the rare places where you can socialize with friends without a phone in your pocket. & no one else has theirs either.
it’d be very cool to see bars, restaurants, museums, concerts, & events in general do this explicit phone free space thing where being on your phone is socially unacceptable.
Predictions for the end of 2027:
- OpenAI + Anthroic revenue will be over 500B
- Lots of new kinds of chips and new marketplace
- 10 year yield to increase by more than 1% - financing costs to soar
- Lots of new equipment players from china
modular data centers for 5x cheaper

@dylan522p highlights from #yotta2026:
- Surprised how much America hates data centers
- Supply chain constraints for buildouts now includes financing
- Margins for frontier labs (and others) are still very healthy (and growing) --> revenue and cost will likely continue to increase
- Self build and contract by frontier labs will become more prominent
- Less than 30% still on inference (from a revenue perspective) from Frontier Labs - the "flip" hasn't happened yet
- All roads currently lead towards hyperscalers and frontier labs, consuming compute. nvidia is trying to democratize / counterbalance this
i was having dinner with someone recently who asked why i spend so much time reading & posting on x. she had a pretty negative perception of the platform mostly shaped by the mainstream narrative around it.
my answer was simple. x is where the future gets beta tested.
you basically get to watch ppl build things, talk through ideas, show off stuff, & argue about where everything is going, way way before it reaches anyone else.
there really isn’t another surface on the internet quite like it.
Steve Kerr says Roger Federer taught his Warriors team the secret to sustained success wasn’t outworking everyone, it was building a life around your craft you never want to escape from
“I’ll tell you a great story about Roger Federer. We were playing in China with the Warriors in 2017. Roger was in Shanghai for the Masters tournament, so we invited him to come speak to the team.”
“Draymond Green asked him, ‘How do you sustain success? How have you managed to win majors 20 years after you first won one?’ Everyone was expecting him to say, ‘I work harder than everybody,’ the will, all the clichés.”
“Roger Federer says, ‘I get up every morning and I make breakfast for my kids. Then I take them to school and drop them off. Then I go practice tennis for about two hours, and I’ve figured out a really good routine where I don’t destroy my body, but I can get all the work in I need.”
“‘Then I go have lunch with my wife. In the evening, we cook dinner together. The kids are all home from school. We ask them about school. There’s so much joy in the house. We put them to bed, and then I put my head on the pillow and go, “Man, that was just a great day.” And I’ve been doing that for 20 years.’”
“And it was like, yes. That’s it. That’s the formula. That’s what leads to sustained success. He loves tennis. He loves his family. He loves life. It’s not outworking everybody and banging your head against the wall, ‘I’m going to be better than everybody.’ It’s allowing your natural talent to shine through with a work ethic, with a great family life, with perspective, with peace, with mindfulness.”
“It’s perspective. It’s joy. It’s passion. It’s mindfulness. It’s an awareness that we are truly lucky. To get the most out of ourselves, it’s our daily rituals and experiences and love and joy.”
BREAKING: 𝕏 reveals it uncovered a Chinese bot farm of roughly 200,000 accounts, including hundreds used to influence U.S. debate over AI data centers & energy policy.
Does anyone remember this amazing story? On July 2, 1982, a truck driver from California flew 16,000 feet into the sky in a lawn chair. Larry Walters, 33, from San Pedro, had dreamed of flying his whole life. He bought 42 eight-foot helium weather balloons, tied them to a regular Sears lawn chair, strapped on a parachute, packed a BB gun to pop balloons to descend, a CB radio, sandwiches, and a six-pack of beer.
He expected to float a few hundred feet above his backyard. He cut the rope and shot up like a rocket — to 16,000 feet. He drifted directly into the main approach path for LAX. Two airline pilots radioed the tower: they had just passed a man in a lawn chair holding a gun at 16,000 feet. For 45 minutes, he floated over Los Angeles, freezing cold, too scared to shoot balloons because he might fall. Finally, he started popping balloons one by one and slowly descended.
He landed tangled in power lines in Long Beach, California, causing a blackout. When police arrested him, they asked why he did it. He said, "A man can't just sit around." The FAA fined him $4,000. He became a national folk hero — Lawnchair Larry — and inspired the movie Up.
Imagine I handed you 10,000 brilliant employees tonight. What would you do with them tomorrow morning? That's exactly what AI agents are about to give you. Most people have no answer.
@thedankoe Purists and Renaissance Man -yes. There is another option in the middle, kind of like the Automatons, that just do what they're told. They become sheep rather than machines. The 'Sheeple' delegate agency - some knowing, some unknowing.
If you’re a double hold back in HS with your chest out because you’re dominating kids 2-3 years younger than you, I feel embarrassed for you. Actually let me rephrase, your parents are responsible for this. I’m embarrassed of them. Justify this toxic culture all you’d like. “I’m gonna do everything to give my son the best chance at achieving his dream” … Yours or his ?!?! A lot of you parents are clout chasing, thirsty as hell to finally see what it’s like to be blue chip recruit. Because last time I checked you either got it or you don’t and if you need 2 additional years IN HIGH SCHOOL where 99% of the athletes will not make it pro, THEN YOU’RE JUST NOT THAT GUY!!!! Being older doesn’t change that and I’m sorry you don’t like it. This bum ass mentality is so trash to me. Little Billy wasn’t good enough to play with his age or even a year back so we made sure he was better by simply being more physically developed (by age) than the rest of the field. Shit is trash. And if you’re reading this offended, GOOD! I’m talking about yo ass !!! Wear the shoe if it fits 🏌️♂️🤷🏽♂️
