@DaEncinoMan This post and many of the replies are hilarious. They've been in the top three in runs scored each of the last three years. They're going through a rough stretch right now for sure, but everyone should probably take a deep breath.
@RobLorge@clown_around_24@FAmmiranteTFJ You should! I watched an 111 win Dodger team lose to an 89 win Padres team in the playoffs. And the next year an 84 win Dbacks team swept them. It's baseball. Weird shit happens.
@RobLorge@clown_around_24@FAmmiranteTFJ I'm a Dodgers fan. I'm not delusional. I know they have huge advantages over other teams. But they will probably not win the world series. Fangraphs as of this morning only has them at 43% to win the NL. To claim the Brewers don't have a shot, even without Skubal, is wrong.
@RobLorge@clown_around_24@FAmmiranteTFJ I know that. I'm not saying otherwise. I'm saying that the increased chance of winning the world series this year might have been worth the prospects. This is the second year in a row the Brewers have the best record in the league. This is their shot.
@RobLorge@clown_around_24@FAmmiranteTFJ It's true that the Dodgers' wealth allows to trade prospects more freely than other teams. But the Brewers are rich in minor league talent and the opportunity to have Miz and Skubal in a playoff rotation might have been worth the risk.
