After working as a journalist on Palestine for 15 years I can tell you it’s actually very simple and doesn’t take a genius to understand:

1) “Israel” kicked most Palestinians out in 1948
2) 80% of Gazans are refugees
3) They want to go back to their homes

Very simple.
