Had I thought to look at @Coinkite’s natal chart for this eclipse season, I would have known something catastrophic was about to happen.

Coinkite’s natal Sun and Moon are BOTH being hit by the Aug 12 and Aug 28 eclipses, indicating a volatile time that impacts the company’s outward identity, as well as its internal foundations.

Additionally, there’s another striking pattern that sticks out: both the company and its flagship product (@COLDCARDwallet) were launched during a Mercury retrograde.

Mercury retrogrades are notorious for technical failures, miscommunications, and important details getting overlooked. I would never recommend launching a company or product during one.

Not only was COLDCARD launched during a Mercury retrograde, but the planet was exactly retrograding over Coinkite’s midheaven, the point associated with public reputation, prominence, and legacy.

So in retrospect, it makes a lot of sense that COLDCARD’s technical failures is what the company will likely be remembered for.

@BTCSpend @TheBTCTherapist This was the same for me and I got lucky but I knew the risks of this setup a long time ago. I never proclaimed to do everything right. I trusted CC and the “experts”. Dice rolls were in the tutorials for CC set up if you actually did the work. Self responsibility is a bitch.
