STACK TO THE FUTURE

You either die a slave, or live long enough to see yourself become a Bitcoiner.

[STACK TO THE FUTURE @stack2thefuture]

There's a lot of people rn in the process of moving funds & creating new #bitcoin setups.

Yet, the #1 reason people lose bitcoin?
POOR BACKUPS.

So today I'm launching https://t.co/gP26SvAWnt.

A dedicated document for MAXIMALLY secure paper backups.

100% free & open source.

Bitcoin in self custody

[Marty Bent @MartyBent]

The Cyber Pandemic is here. Your antennae should be raised. Time to mentally prepare for the propaganda onslaught that will inevitably result from today.

Resist the calls for complete control over the internet by governments and their trusted corporate partners.

[STACK TO THE FUTURE @stack2thefuture]

@petrijaervinen @nunchuk_io That did it. Orbot was the issue. Thanks.

[STACK TO THE FUTURE @stack2thefuture]

Anyone else having issues with @nunchuk_io when connecting to your own node?

My wallet is stuck in "Offline" status. And my node is online and seems fine.

[STACK TO THE FUTURE @stack2thefuture]

@BtcCuracao @nunchuk_io My node is running over TOR.

[STACK TO THE FUTURE @stack2thefuture]

@JPaq_6 @nunchuk_io I use Start9. Never had issues with it before though. Changed nothing.

[STACK TO THE FUTURE @stack2thefuture]

@petrijaervinen @nunchuk_io Yeah

[Guy Swann @TheGuySwann]

The Great Hackening of 2026 continues... and this time, it's Ledger.

In this Guy's Take episode I break down this latest attack on self custody which has resulted in over $100M so far. I go into the history, the nature of the attack, what we know so far, and of course what we can do to protect ourselves.

It's tough out there, and things seem bleak, but self custody is NOT dead. We must simply learn, evolve, and strengthen the immune system. And we will.

[STACK TO THE FUTURE @stack2thefuture]

@NEEDcreations Bad actors have a way of showing their true colours. Better to find out sooner rather than later.

[STACK TO THE FUTURE @stack2thefuture]

Never trust a man who doesn’t pay up when he loses a bet.

@cryptoquick your credibility is on the line.

This is bitcoin. People don’t forget.

[Wicked @w_s_bitcoin]

What a wreck.

[Guy Swann @TheGuySwann]

There's nothing "normal" about prices going up.

Most people assume that things getting more expensive is a fact of life. But in a truly productive, advancing society, everyday goods should actually get cheaper over time.

In this Guy's Take, I lay out a simple analogy to show exactly how the creation of new money is quietly stealing the prosperity we work so hard for.

[STACK TO THE FUTURE @stack2thefuture]

@xpugHODL Imagine the suffering you have to be going through to know that your loved ones will be left in pain, and still want to go through with it?

Imagine the suffering you have to be going through to actually want to end your existence completely?

Have some empathy ffs.

[STACK TO THE FUTURE @stack2thefuture]

@Pleb4Fun @justh0dl @sms4sats Awesome thanks. This might be even better because I can just use it to switch to a USA iCloud account and then use email, recovery codes or backup codes for account recovery if I ever need to do an account recovery.

[STACK TO THE FUTURE @stack2thefuture]

Anyone know of a good privacy-centric eSIM provider that will give you a US phone number?

Bonus points if I can pay in #Bitcoin.

Need to change my Apple location from the UK so I can enable Advanced Data Protection.

[STACK TO THE FUTURE @stack2thefuture]

@justh0dl Ah ok cool. Didn’t realise you got SMS, that should do it! Thanks

[STACK TO THE FUTURE @stack2thefuture]

@0___________0_v data only

[STACK TO THE FUTURE @stack2thefuture]

@_jfrader Was just looking at this. Their US sim cards only include data. No number.

[STACK TO THE FUTURE @stack2thefuture]

@statusquont @Dantoshi @Trezor Fair play on this. Still, seems like something that could be resolved by having zigzag lined around the edges or something.

Not saying it’s 100% foolproof, but it only needs to be robust enough to make it impractical for an attacker to attempt at scale.

[STACK TO THE FUTURE @stack2thefuture]

Anyone tried setting up 2 different multisigs using the same signers but different derivation paths?

My thoughts are that this would only require an extra descriptor backup, whilst offering totally separate pools of funds (no additional key backups).

Good/bad idea?

[STACK TO THE FUTURE @stack2thefuture]

@JoeNakamoto Unfortunately they're not cheap but I'd still strongly recommend that you go for an nvme SSD over SATA if you have a USBC connection. Way faster.
