@GillianKeegan My child wants to attend and she's so bright but it's not safe for her to attend due to unmet sen needs. She's been waiting for assessments for ADHD and ASD for years and self-harms 3-5 days a week.
This Girl Can selection committee:
“We need to highlight awesome girls doing awesome stuff to inspire other girls.”
“Great idea!”
“Let’s start the week with four boys! That will REALLY inspire girls!”
@GBNEWS My daughter loves sport and participates in a number of sports outside of school but her School PE lessons are woeful and that before I mention they took a team to the swimming gala half of whom couldn't swim!
@ChildrensComm This shouldn't be a surprise to you. You claim to listen to the voices of children and their carers and they have been crying out in desperation for years.
@iluminatibot I started school in the 80s and went to school with a celiac child and several of my friends including myself have late diagnoses of Autism and/or ADHD.
@PriGeogCheshire Sporcle challenges quizzes, postcard walls - put out a shout for people to send postcards from where they live and get children to find out 5 facts about the place including where it is on the map
Two people arrested for cutting down the sycamore by Hadrians Wall. No one arrested for thousands of trees cut down and 108 ancient woodlands destroyed for the Old Oak Common to Birmingham railway line formerly known as HS2.
@ElizabethBangs@globedust2@Beth_Tastic@Thinkingschool2 I agree with the concept of uniform but I don't agree with my daughter being disciplined when she's done nothing wrong. It's not her fault the school supplier doesn't make a skirt long enough.
@GarethMacG@Thinkingschool2 A policy that short of removing a section of her femurs she can't comply with because the branded school skirt only comes in one length. If she'd rolled it up or broken the school rules I'd have said consequences for actions but she's done nothing wrong
