🚨 SPC has gone with a Level 4 of 5 across Illinois and Indiana, and the word they're using is outbreak.

One detail that grabbed me from this morning's update: a storm cluster over Iowa already clocked a 94 mph gust before sunrise. That same energy is sliding toward Illinois. As the air recovers behind it through the afternoon, strong tornadoes, 75+ mph winds, and big hail are all on the table. If this delivers like it looks, we'll likely be live around 5 this evening.

Mason County is going to a Level 2 Snow Emergency. Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow and roadways may be icy. Only motorists whose travel is necessary should be on the roadways. Residents are urged to contact their employer to see if they should report to work
