In addition to the Washington Peace Agreement between #DRC and #Rwanda, and Doha process between the DRC government and AFC/M23; regional countries should also introduce policies that vehemently disallow ethnic and tribal based politics and activism! According to my assessment, and as someone who was born and grew up in this place; these are parts of antecedent causes of 30 years of conflict in EasternDRC!

I don't want to mention minerals as they will always be there. Therefore, we just need the right and competent mechanism for managing exploitation and trade of all nature resources from #DRC in general; if permanent peace in EasternCongo and the region, is indeed the goal!

Otherwise, thank you so much Mister President @realDonaldTrump and your great administration for the attention and for eventually bringing the lasting peace in our region, but particularly in EasternDRC! "Something is better than nothing at all"
