@MarkBaggett@SANSInstitute Just like in SEC573 @MarkBaggett does such a great job teaching and explaining Python concepts. Now I just have to watch the recordings a few more times so the knowledge can seep deeper into my brain.
@LVad3r@MalwareJake Love the Packard Bell reference but I see the FAA as more of a Compaq house. A Windows 3.51 server that hasn't been upgraded because it would ground all the planes from flying.
@AlyssaM_InfoSec I'm very happy with my Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro but would be happier with a Palo Alto 220 (slightly over your budget). Really depends on how much control you want over your environment.
Just got accepted as a #CyberPatriot mentor. Got the word out to OASD to look for interested teachers looking for help getting a team established. Now we play the waiting game....
@mttaggart Defense in depth. It's just one part of a much bigger solution to keep the network safe. Just like GeoIP blocking. If your business/govt/school doesn't need to deal with most countries why would you not block that potential risk? Totally realize some cannot do this. But I can.
