"Salvage Pt II: Scar Tissue," the newest episode of LBC 2063... my original sci-fi anthology set in a 2063 California harbor city. They rebuilt her. Now they'd like the evidence gone. Every idea from a twisted human brain, every frame from a sketch fed to an AI: Midjourney, Gemini, Kling, Seedance, cut in Premiere Pro with Epidemic Sound and Ocular Sounds. New episodes when they're ready...
They offered her a body with no history. Head to bare feet, factory new, like nothing ever happened.
She looked at the preview for a long time.
Then she turned it off.
Would you erase yours? 🪞
Some problems can't wait until morning.
One call to the top floor. No paperwork. No questions. No loose ends.
By sunrise, it's like it never happened.
Halcyon's LBC branch. Consider it done.

Starbucks spends $400 million a year on software. Yesterday they announced they're moving off IBM and Microsoft to build their own custom systems in-house.
IBM dropped 3% and Salesforce dropped 4% on the news.
And honestly this is, unequivocally, the biggest signal I've seen since OpenAI and Anthropic launched their consulting arms back in Q1. The largest companies in the world are done paying for software that half fits how they work.
We saw this coming about a year ago. Moved everything we build off Airtable and low-code tools and went fully custom. Already paying off, and it's only going to compound from here.
This is the opportunity right now.
You get all of a company's data into one system. You build out a single operating system for the entire business. You cut out bad, redundant processes. Then you layer AI on top of it, under the correct processes.
That's the core of AI consulting. Helping companies actually operate better.
There are a lot of fly-by-night offerings circulating right now when it comes to Ai Services.
For example, 'second brains'.
Throwing scattered data into a second brain while the processes underneath stay broken does nothing. The companies who will absolutely destroy their competition over the next 5 years are rebuilding how they work from the ground up.
Starbucks is showing you what other companies will be doing over the next several years.
Your job is to position yourself to facilitate that process for as many companies as you can.
Some things you don't walk away from the same.

$DELL NEW SEC FILING SHOWS MORE LAYOFFS ARE COMING
In March we reported Dell quietly cut 11,000 jobs. The new 10-Q covers the 13 weeks after that. It sped up.
$227M spent on severance in 13 weeks, up 75% from a year ago. $242M is already set aside for severance not yet paid.
🚨 FOODS YOU'RE EATING WRONG!
1️⃣ 🍍 Pineapple – The core has the MOST bromelain (anti-inflammatory). Stop throwing it away.
2️⃣ 🍄 Mushrooms – Don't soak them in water. Wipe them clean instead.
3️⃣ 🍫 Chocolate – The fridge kills the flavor. Store it at room temperature.
4️⃣ 🥔 Potatoes – Eat them cold or reheated. Cooling creates gut-friendly resistant starch.
5️⃣ 🍵 Green Tea – Steep for only 2–3 minutes. Longer isn't better.
6️⃣ 🥝 Kiwi – The skin is edible and loaded with fiber. Wash and enjoy.
7️⃣ 🌿 Cinnamon – Choose Ceylon, not Cassia. Your liver will thank you.
8️⃣ 🫑 Bell Peppers – Cut from the bottom, not the stem. Cleaner and easier.
9️⃣ 🧄 Garlic – Let it sit for 10 minutes after chopping to activate allicin.
🔟 🥦 Broccoli – Don't boil it! Steam it lightly or eat it raw.
How many of these were you doing wrong? 👇
