@OttawaHealth How about second doses for our 4 year olds you "accidentally" vaccinated before eligible. They are waiting WAY too long to get their second dose.
@RickChiarelli@imsouperwoman@ottawacity How about at the VERY least red light cameras to catch the cars who turn right off Erindale or Glenmount and then blow through the second red (and crosswalk). Have nearly been hit more times than I can count.
@NightShiftMD Ontario put out the “urgent call” to allied health professionals in Dec. I did the course - still waiting on paperwork more than 2 weeks later. Physio, dentists, RMTs have been offering to volunteer for months!
@VicSilverman @JordanLeichnitz @cbcjlong @hypsauce @mbpowell@JenBenson@danieldemois@VeraEtches@OttawaHealth If this was a “mistake” Ottawa will need a plan of how to deal with second doses for these children. Not only was the provincial system “wrong” in letting us book them, but our children were also given their first dose at multiple locations in the city.
@CyndyPyndy23@YoniFreedhoff We were told yes at the Sportsplex but they were out of paediatric doses. We went to Eva James and they did it! My understanding is that they turned people away on the 1st and did them on the 2nd.
A joint letter from Ottawa's teachers' unions is asking that medical officer of health Dr. Vera Etches keep schools closed until additional safety measures are put in place to protect staff and students from the Omicron variant of COVID-19. #ottnews

Most people are surprised that N95/KN95/KF94 can be used more than 8 hrs. Actually the N95 spec requires that these masks maintain >95% after 200mg of loading. How much is 200mg, same as wearing the mask 24/7 in Shanghai for about 200 DAYS! Straps will be the first thing to fail
@fordnation please reconsider your decision to not allow splash-pads to open at the same time as other outdoor activities like golf and basketball. It’s going to be over 30 degrees this long weekend. Please RT and email your MPP. #splishsplash
