After some thinking I have come to the conclusion that the MS DirectX thing they released for WSL is just a Microsoft embrace and extend move. Adding Microsoft only APIs to WSL isn't Microsoft ❤️ Linux, its the more traditional Microsoft 🖕 Linux. The ❤️ thing to do is Vulkan.
