We Parse PDFs
We spent 7 figures to put this on billboards throughout SF.
I thought long and hard about putting something more creative and whimsical. But then you wouldn’t know what we do.
AI agents (and humans) are consuming exponentially more documents as they do real work. They need the best quality document parser to not output garbage on downstream tasks.
This is what we do today as a company. If you have any PDFs (or other documents), we parse them :)
If you’re around SF in June for one of the following events, come stop by our booths:
✅ Snowflake Summit (this week, Booth 1123)
✅ Databricks Data+AI Summit (June 15-18, Booth 137)
✅ AI Engineer World Fair(June 29-July 2, Booth L-G47)
You can find us by the same sign we put on our billboards!

Last Uncapped episode of the year, feeling really grateful for what a fun project this has turned out to be.
Closing out the year with one of my best friends @saammotamedi. Although I don't like to admit it to him, he's a remarkable investor and person.
Greylock has been producing amazing returns for sixty years and I tried to stay serious for long enough stretches of time during this episode to hear some of Saam's insights about how it works. Hope you enjoy.

🚨 Despite billions spent on tools and training, human error remains a top cause of security breaches. 🚨
Today we’re launching @FableSecurity, a new cybersecurity company initiated at @GreylockVC, to turn employees into your first line of defense.
Fable has come out of stealth with $31M in funding across a Series Seed led by @GreylockVC and a Series A led by our friends @ericabrescia and @jordan_segall at @Redpoint.
Attackers are becoming master manipulators thanks to AI: highly convincing deepfakes, real-time voice impersonations, SMS phishing attacks, contextual social engineering, and always evolving. The human layer is now the most actively targeted and most difficult to defend
Fable’s approach fundamentally changes human behavior. Their platform continuously monitors behavioral risk signals - like suspicious file sharing, risky clicks, or unusual access patterns - and delivers context-aware, AI-generated interventions that nudge users toward safer behavior.
Fable is already protecting hundreds of thousands of employees in Fortune 500 companies like @PennymacNews, @Genesys, and the @DNC. Enterprises are seeing measurable improvements: Fable drove 80%+ reduction in phishing clicks, 60%+ less sensitive data exposure, and employees adopt secure behaviors 13X faster.
There’s no better team to be going after this problem than @Nicolejiang and @SannyLiao. We’ve known them for many years: Nicole and Sanny bring cybersecurity and AI expertise from their roles at Abnormal AI, TellApart and Palantir Technologies. Together they’ve built one of the strongest teams at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity.
Excited to be a part of Fable’s ambitious mission to eliminate the human attack surface.

There’s a lot of talk about AI agents - but are they actually working? Today @cogent_security comes out of stealth with one of the most impactful use cases we’ve seen for AI agents: vulnerability management.
Vulnerability management is a perfect example of work that AI agents can transform: it’s slow, repetitive, and reliant on fragmented data. Today, security teams spend hours manually gathering context and deciding how to respond. Cogent changes that.
With Cogent’s AI taskforce, security teams have a team of expert AI agents that are working 24/7 to accelerate the entire VM lifecycle – from identifying top risks to autonomous remediation at scale. We at @GreylockVC are privileged to have partnered with Cogent at inception and to lead their $11M seed financing.
There’s no better team to be going after this critical problem. @vineete_5, @snggeng, and @ThanosBaskous have cut their teeth in security and infrastructure over many years across Abnormal, Coinbase, and Blackstone and they’ve built one of the strongest Applied AI teams in cyber, and continue to grow - see careers page for more.
In just eight months since founding, Cogent has secured millions of assets in Fortune 500 enterprises, testament to how critical this problem is for security teams.
This is just the beginning of how cybersecurity can be reinvented with AI and Cogent plans on continuously pushing the boundary of the possible to help security teams leverage AI to protect their companies. Excited to be on this ambitious journey.

There are investors… and then there are @GreylockVC's @saammotamedi and @CorinneMRiley
For Saam and Corinne, leading our seed round at Resolve AI wasn’t just about funding us. It was about building a real partnership.
From the very beginning, they made it clear that they believed in what we were doing, and had a high degree of conviction about both our product and the market we were going after.
And they indicated that level of conviction by taking the time to truly understand the context of our business, so they could give us specific help - not just generic VC advice.
That specific help came in the form of introductions to customers, organizing events and dinners with senior execs, and helping tremendously with the most difficult part of building a startup…hiring.
In fact, it’s thanks to their intros that we have 30% of our new hires.
Last, but definitely not least, they were just really fun to work with every day. Now that I’m on my fourth company, I know how much of a difference it can make when you really enjoy talking to your investors every day.
That is absolutely the case with Saam and Corinne.
If your investors are just people who give you money, and nothing more, you’re missing out on tangible, meaningful help for key areas in your growing startup - recruiting, hiring, and customer intros among them.
In short, you’re working with the wrong investors. Go find the right ones.

We are at the early innings of an incredible period of innovation. I believe vertical specialization and domain-tuned AI will be key to building enduring applications.
Here are takeaways from my post on why the moment for Vertical AI is now.
