Several amazing pieces of work on @Tezos at play here. Firstly enshrined smart rollups using the security of the L1. Secondly, the smartness of the rollup - the ability to run code in it. @Etherlink was the first production rollup on @Tezos and allows EVM developers to deploy with little (or no) change to their code.

More to come in 2026 when the team build Michelson capability into the rollup.
