We have a case in Brussels and from an unlikely source - a pedestrian advocate. They’re frustrated with the shared bikes, but not with the cars.
Will need to find a Belgian colleague with a tape measure and a city councilor to mandate mass on-street bike parking.

@Rklawton @drivingmzstacey @Ford I’m sure that is part of it. It’s also in total vs. per vehicle, but heavy is the head that wears the crown - more reason to make your vehicle safer + smaller.
This focus is on insurance + risk. But repair is based upon supply chain, not rural casualties.

They make space for people walking & biking, so they get more people walking & biking. The streets are safer & more vibrant due to the activities that can occur by de prioritizing cars. Which begets more…
