@AmazingNature00 I grew up next to the Sequoia Kings Canyon National Forest. Because I was born in 1957;.the California Condor could still be seen nesting atop the Sequoias when I was a small boy !
@1Lowprofile@DOGE I was studying to be a Science Teacher with my BA in Bio-Science then I noticed the only way to get an increase in pay was to be an Administrator. That's the problem. I ended up going to the private sector where pay is based on performance and merit.
@elonmusk@DOGE Agreed. I'm working with an Offshore Wind Developer in California by Lompoc CA and they've been waiting 4 years for the regulators to agree on regulations wasting taxpayer money and local Native Chumash wanting the Wind power because for the Chumash wind is their energy!
@KatieTarasov@stevekovach1985@aidangomez@cohere Aiden Gomez is indeed a genius. But the data needs to be tethered to Data inside the "Enterprise". Otherwise is nonsensical Data. Just RAG it. Easy.
@KatieTarasov@VantageDC@Arm I am working on connecting huge data centers of 100 MW and greater in California. Don't believe the pundits and naysayers. There is plenty of capacity. You just need to know where to build them and hire knowledge people.

@llama_index@ravithejads@AnthropicAI The issue is many videos talk but miss the important point that majority of enterprise data is the publicly available corpus of tech docs in PDF format yet no one talks about making it easy except this gent named Greg Lovelace of Source Allies; based in Iowa of all places.
Imagine the "Corpus" of publicly available technical standards documents that exist in PDF, Word, HTML on the web but yet not in a vector database for generative search in natural language. That's what I want to do!
@chrisalbon ...I now have "Open Mic" MS Teams Calls whereby I start my day with a "live" MS Teams and I invite my customers and colleagues into my "Live" session. Most of questions are related to people needing info to solve problems. Or an update. I work in the thousands.
@iamthestack@a2yakubu@FosterPartners In 2008-2013 - I helped decommission the power plant during its operation/end of operation. Spent lots of time there
