Hello! I am very proud of the people in our lab so I wanted to share their work here. Also we should really all leave X. We are a small group in a Bio department and this work took an enormous amount of effort from every one here. Very very proud of them.

Special kudos to the first co-authors @gizzguzz and @setiembreelorza, and to the fundamental linebackers: @manon_ros and Logan Schachtner. Finally: Many thanks to our collaborators at the @ThalesPapaG
and @lydfinley labs!
hey @Quartzy what the hell?
... what's the community's best quartzy alternative? I don't care if it's more expensive than quartzy, promising that they'll always be free for scientists and then going back on that promise makes me want to switch on principle.
There're tons of beautiful videos in the paper but I'll leave you with one that really blew my mind:
It shows macrophages in the ECM seemingly infiltrating the tumor mass but not by being attracted to it but because tumor cells grab macrophages and physically pull them in😮

Hello, check our pre-print in @bioRxiv:
Direct visualization of emergent metastatic features within an ex vivo model of the tumor microenvironment https://t.co/QwPpQksyLp
Importantly, co-culturing different cell types in the 3MIC is super easy and fabricating it is cheap!
While we developed the 3MIC to model the #tumorMicroenvironment, we think it can be easily adapted to model embryonic #organoids, brain ischemia, etc...
I don't get how 'editors' from these scam journals have not realized yet that starting their emails with Greetings! it's an automatic red flag.
Also happy new year!
