@OctopusEnergy We still haven't had a formal response to this issue. An engineer came out on the 15th to confirm how the leak occurred, since then all we have received are cust service emails asking if you can close the ticket. Without any formal reply/closure I'll be logging with the ombudsman

@OctopusEnergy we had a smart meter fitted. Engineer advised we might smell gas for a while as it was a tricky job. Next morning I'm calling the emergency number as we have a major gas leak! No word back from Octopus, even when I've attempted to log a formal complaint!!!

@OctopusEnergy Ok now I'll getting annoyed. I've had a strange phone call from WhatsApp telling me to install Remitly Money from the playstore so I can receive compensation. If this is legit then he wouldnt confirm my octopus account no. If it's a scam let's add this to my list of complaints 🤬

@OctopusEnergy Just check your [email protected] inbox for my email sent at 13:53 on Friday 26th, titled Urgent Complaint - Unsafe Gas Meter Installation. All the details are in that. The leak was fixed by Cadent, but would have been nice for an octopus guy to come and check it was all ok!
