Average voter: housing here became too expensive, we can’t afford it anymore
Economists: your city needs to build more housing to increase supply
Average voter: I don’t want more housing, I want housing to be more affordable
That’s basically the state of the discourse
@EricLawCapt@muddsicle You don’t need to feign concern about environmental impacts. You can just say you don’t want more people near you. This undermines legitimate uses of CEQA.
@AMisk23@DianoPeters If Rwandan hospitals and roads are so great, why is there a need for Zipline at all?
Your leaders understand that the quality of healthcare + transportation needs to improve, but clearly this has not trickled down to their sycophantic propagandists.
@AMisk23@DianoPeters Ok, I’ll bite.
Zipline didn’t launch its blood delivery operations in my country (the US) because we have much better hospitals and highways.
What does the DRC have anything to do with this? In any case, the global economy depends on Congolese minerals. Not exactly useless.
