Anything is recyclable but the amount of energy needed makes it often not feasible. Just plastic is better burned to use its energy and not make poor plastic.

This isn’t necessarily true.

A lot of the materials used in both solar panels and wind turbines are recyclable, especially with modern hardware.

Now, whether said materials are or aren’t recycled is an entirely different story. Just because a material is recyclable does not mean it will be recycled.

Yes but not more than 45% of energy we invest into making electricity comes out; usually it is a lot less. So while electric motors are extremely efficient, they have already lost 55% or worse.

But there are more nuances to it e.g. electric motors are 99% efficient compared to 20 to max. 50% combustion engines.

Weight of battery is still a killer in many use cases with movement especially in air.

Chinese though built an electric military airplane with 3000 km range.

By the way there is war on electronics and chips powering solar panels and batteries.
