I'm an Assistant Curriculum Leader for English in a school nr Bristol. Film, music, books, life, love and learning are some of my passions. All views my own.
I am running out of P2 mini mocks.
Only one answer for it...
A few more coming for the final four days, will share on here if helpful.
AQA seem to love travel and weather, so I'm sticking with these themes 🤣
@DoWise I used your ideas today - thank you so much! The character viewpoint one was perfect as I teach structure by thinking about POV and then identifying and/or using 'looking' words and 'position' words. Very much looking forward to reading @ChrisYoules book too
Power and Conflict poetry flashcards (1 for each poem) - they have a summary of the poem, three key message/ideas from the poems that can be used as 'hooks' for their comparison & analysis plus a selection of key quotes for each. They may help someone! https://t.co/zpwsvYe0qd

@ask_aubry I was born in the UK and I have a stinking cold and a bit of a rubbish but mainly because I'm so snotty and cold and I'm sure you're pleased you marked the occasion too much but it will save them a trip here which won't be easy now.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be doing a thread on each of the ‘Power and Conflict’ poems that some of you will be reading for your English Literature GCSEs.
I can’t promise that they will be original or even very good, but … I’ll try by best!
