@AndreLHampton@FreightAlley Traditionally the cost of the transportation of goods is only a small percentage of the total cost, but there’s a point at which shippers will look around and realize this “good” now costs more to move than it is worth. A rapid rise to this level would completely shock markets
@bilious72@teal_andrew@FreightAlley Don’t disagree that’s a starting point, but carriers aren’t going to freely give up driving records for all their drivers
Companies make bad hires all the time and they don’t end up working out. I’ve worked with expcetional carriers before who hired a bad apple.
@not_tattered666@teal_andrew@FreightAlley Brother I’ve been in this industry longer than you. What’s the safety scores benchmark, who dictates it, who oversees it.
This isn’t a matter of guy doesn’t speak English etc etc. That’s obvious.
Don’t be an idiocy
@FreightAlley Shits just gonna roll down hill. Everyone’s gonna sue everyone. If I’m a broker who relies on FMCSA to look at safety scores to make my carrier selection and then i get sued, what’s stopping me from using the govt for unreliable scores/info
@RobCarpenter Does this mean shippers/customers can now be sued? They hired broker who made an unsafe selection regarding a carrier.
When does it stop?
