"I should just point out that we don't have any Lib Dems on the panel as they only have 71 MPs, but Suella Braverman is here because Reform have 8 MPs"

Trump said Nevada has 250,000 noncitizens voting. So DHS went through the list of voters.
Guess how many they found. 250,000? No. 2000? Nope. 200? Wrong. They found ZERO noncitizens.
Epstein is not a hoax. Affordability is not a hoax.
Illegals voting is a big fat orange hoax.
If you're at conference and you care about this issue, you need to come to this event on Monday with @labourlewis who's been one of the persistent & outspoken voices on Palantir.
We're going to be discussing how 8 years on from Cambridge Analytica, we've failed as a nation to understand how our personal data can & will be weaponised. And what we now must do.

I keep thinking there has to be a bottom with Trump, and he keeps proving me wrong.
A U.N. commission, for the first time in 70 years, passed a resolution calling for women and girls’ rights and justice and gender equality, 37 to 1.
The lone dissenting nation was Donald Trump’s delegation from the United States.
He’s against female equality. A new low for Trump.
I urge you to remember this in November.
Russ Vought is Donald Trump's budget director and the most dangerous person you've never heard of. He helped write Project 2025, and he has spent years arguing that a president should be free to ignore spending laws he doesn't like.
Now he's doing exactly that.
Last night, with no vote and no debate, Trump canceled nearly $1 billion that Congress passed and he had previously signed into law.
The trick is called a "pocket rescission."
The White House sits on money for months, then sends Congress a cancellation request so late in the fiscal year that the funds simply expire on September 30.
Last year they used the same move to wipe out $4.9 billion.
I sit on the House Appropriations Committee. Under the Constitution, Congress decides how taxpayer dollars are spent. Republicans and Democrats negotiated these bills in good faith.
If a president can erase any spending law by running out the clock, the power of the purse means nothing.
I'll keep fighting to restore these funds and close this loophole for good. Congress writes the budget, and it's time more of my Republican colleagues stood up and said so.

22 billionaires are spending $229M against CA's 5% billionaire wealth tax, led by:
Sergey Brin worth $273 billion
Peter Thiel worth $28 billion
Chris Larsen worth $13.7 billion
Disgusting. They'd rather let people die because they can’t afford healthcare than pay their fair share.
Netanyahu threatens Spain publicly:
"You are about to pay the price. Never forget the blackout and mysterious train incidents that occurred shortly after Spain stood up to Israel."
What is he saying? They say they will carry out terrorist attacks inside Spain.
The world should pay attention to this.
Spain responded:
"We are not defaming you; we are describing you: you are a genocidal and criminal regime. You will all face trial before the International Criminal Court."
Modi, Orban, Erdogan, Trump, Farage. They all learn from each other on how to deal with journalists, and how create their own propaganda channels. https://t.co/kZdC5jJHX6
There is something so unAmerican and so disturbing about an American president demeaning and poking fun at a fellow American president in the presence of a communist leader, while the previous president is battling cancer.
It’s just so sickening.
James Talarico: “I’m not just supposed to love my Christian neighbors. I don’t want the government forcing a religion down my throat so why would I do that to my Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Agnostic, Atheist neighbors? That’s not love. I think we need a Senator who is gonna confront Christian nationalism and do it not just on constitutional grounds, but on theological grounds. I will always stand up for the separation of church and state”
King Abdullah II on the West Bank: "Israeli soldiers stand by as settlers attack Palestinians, often protecting the attackers or joining them.
They have blocked ambulances from reaching the injured. They have targeted international journalists who are trying to say the truth."
Andrew Neil on #bbcqt: "The big problem we face is 6.7 million adults of working age who aren't working and are living on out-of-work benefits. 6.7 million. No country can prosper with that number of people able to work who are not working."
The first half is broadly right. DWP figures show 6.7 million people in Great Britain claimed some combination of out-of-work benefits in March 2026. However, the second half is misinformation because it misdescribes that statistic.
DWP's out-of-work benefits category deliberately includes people the state has assessed as unable to work, or does not currently expect to work.
DWP's own breakdown shows that 4.6 million of the 6.7 million, around 68%, have no work requirements at all.
DWP explains that this is generally because they are too sick to work or are the main carer for a very young child. That group includes 2.8 million Universal Credit claimants on the health route and 390,000 on Employment and Support Allowance and older incapacity benefits.
Only 2.2 million, about a third, are expected to take any steps towards work, and 590,000 of those are themselves on the health route.
Treating the whole 6.7 million as available labour turns a count of claimants into a count of idle workers, which the data simply does not support.
The official labour market figures tell a very different story. The ONS puts unemployment, meaning people actively looking for and available for work, at 1.78 million for May to July 2026. The Learning and Work Institute estimates that 3.9 million people are out of work but say they want a job, and that there are 5.5 of them for every vacancy.
There is a serious debate to be had about rising sickness claims and appropriate support. It is not helped by presenting people the state itself has judged unable to work, or not required to, as if they were simply choosing not to.
Nobody challenged Neil. Nobody corrected the misinformation. Neil got a round of applause. Someone could have told Fiona Bruce the facts in less than a minute. This is just one example which helps explain why many people understandably treat @bbcquestiontime as a joke.

JD Vance says the Administration is removing 760,000 people who are enrolled in Affordable Care Act coverage to fight fraud.
If this Administration has real evidence of fraud, by all means, prosecute every last one of these brokers who committed it.
But explain this to me: Trump pardoned a man convicted of health care fraud. He commuted the sentence of another who orchestrated a $205 million Medicare fraud scheme.
If this Administration is so concerned about fraud in our health care system, why is Trump granting clemency to people convicted of committing it?

In forty days, we can stop Trump's corruption and start healing our gravely damaged country. Or Trump keeps killing Americans in his illegal Iran War and you keep paying for it with money that should be feeding your families.
If we don't flip the House:
- Gas skyrockets
- Groceries skyrocket
- Farmers keep getting crushed so Donald can build a Bullshit Ballroom, calling it a national security necessity 🤷🏻♂️
- A bunker goes in under the party hall.
- A 250-foot arch goes up in honor of Trump.
- His name goes back on the Kennedy Center.
- And his abhorrent corruption continues to corrode the heart & soul of our one-great country.
If Democrats don't flip the House, Trump keeps treating the Constitution like toilet paper. He already kicked CNN, Politico, and MS NOW reporters out of the White House because he hated the accurate coverage. How will he abuse his power next?
FUN FACT: When told his ballroom was not being built up to safety codes, the belligerent fool said, “I am the code.”
If Trump's abuse of power is not checked, millions more will lose their healthcare and die. Who wants to love in a country where the president decides your premiums are less important than his gold letters?
On November 3rd, let's put our country back on the road to healing ❤️🩹 #BlueWaveIn40Days
🚨 Empty supermarket shelves are inevitable and that’s why govt has told people to stockpile. And Brexit is to blame.
Britain’s food and drink trade deficit has soared beyond £21 BILLION 🔥 the largest since 2000.
Food and drink export volumes fell 11.7% in the first half of this year, while imports remained close to record levels.
And this year British farmers have endured flooding, drought, falling yields and soaring fertiliser, fuel and other input costs. We are competing against growing volumes of imported food while fighting one another for a finite SFI budget that’s hotter than Glastonbury tickets.
This is how you hollow out domestic productive capacity.
You don’t wake up one morning and discover Britain has lost its ability to feed itself. It happens gradually: farms become unviable, processors close, imports rise and domestic production falls.
And for years the answer has been: don’t worry, we can import it.
Import what? From whom? At what price?
In a world of war, climate shocks and increasingly protectionist trade, deliberately becoming more dependent on other countries for food isn’t resilience.
Government says food security is national security @andyburnham@angelaeagle
Then start treating the businesses producing our food as part of Britain’s critical national infrastructure!
Trump invited 10 Big Tech Oligarchs to his private dinner with President Xi of China.
They have nearly doubled their wealth since Trump's election & are now worth almost $2 trillion. Here's how much richer each of them got since Trump was elected:
Elon Musk: ⬆️ $658 billion
Michael Dell: ⬆️ $141 billion
Jensen Huang: ⬆️ $70 billion
Jeff Bezos: ⬆️ $59 billion
Mark Zuckerberg: ⬆️ $57 billion
Lisa Su: ⬆️ $2.1 billion
Sam Altman: ⬆️ $1.3 billion

Let’s be clear. The function of AI must be to improve life for all humanity, not just make a handful of billionaires even richer.
