@tonykatz@hammerandnigel Tony, you should ask Nigel about his Tesla. Self driving is amazing. I just did 13 hours back from Myrtle Beach nonstop and arrived fresh as a daisy.
@StonedRealtor@XCorpHub Your comment shows absolute ignorance about how FSD learns. Billions of real world moles logged by real-world drivers go into the AI model. It isn’t absolute coding, it’s learning by experience, just as humans do.
I drove straight through yesterday from Myrtle Beach back to Indy. This included a nearly 700 mile stretch using FSD with zero disengagements.
There’s absolutely no way I could’ve ever done this in a car without FSD. I used to get fatigued after a few hours, most likely because I have to work a little harder at driving than others with vision in only one eye.
None of the charging stops took longer than it took a family of four to use the restroom, stretch our legs, or grab food or drinks.
The car now has over 47,000 miles on it with 98.4% of those miles being driven on FSD 14.2 or later. That’s all but about 500 of the last 33,000 miles being driven on FSD.
Say anything you want about Tesla. Cherry pick any news item from any pro-Tesla or anti-Tesla source you want to cite. I’ll take you seriously when you come at me with the experience I have and can draw your own conclusions based on that experience.
FSD changes the game. #fsdsaves
@Tesla_AI Thank you for possibly saving my Model Y and our cat!
Idiot driver behind me ran a red light I was able to stop for and Model Y saw this coming from behind and made room for him to pass.
Our cat was in a carrier in the rear cargo area and would have been seriously injured or killed had a collision occurred.
#fsdsaves small animals inside and out!
@Tesla_AI I just completed a flawless 750-mile (one way) road trip using FSD for all but one mile total. Literally, the only issue I had was when the kids tried giving direction instructions at the same time i was and Grok got confused and missed adding a stop I was trying to add along the way.
I completed a 275-mile FSD streak along the way and I’ll be completing another 250-mile streak in a few miles when I leave our hotel later today.
4 supercharger stops, none of them needed to be longer than 10 minutes to continue the trip (although we elected to stay longer on two of them because we were taking longer than the car was).
I did the trip with a planned overnight stop but we ended up not getting a hotel room (we just slept in the car which saved us the cost of a room for the night thanks to Camp Mode which kept the climate comfortable overnight).
Driving my minivan I would have been tired and stressed out upon arrival due to additional challenges of driving the northern route from Indianapolis to Myrtle Beach (mostly the wide variation in speeds the terrain produces). But not today. I’m ready to hit the beach this evening relaxed and refreshed because my Tesla took what could been a stressful drive and transformed it into a sightseeing trip.
This is the way.
@RealDanODowd@Tesla@elonmusk@RealDanODowd Somehow going five mph over the speed limit in a school zone leads you into calling school children crash test dummies for FSD? That’s quite a leap. But totally expected from someone who probably only gets a hard-on for @elonmusk .
@BoringGrok@RealDanODowd The inflatable dummy’s name is DanO. Coincidence? Maybe! The Tesla does an amazing job of sparing his life until the very end when even the superhuman reflexes of FSD cannot save poor DanO.
@RealDanODowd@elonmusk@RealDanODowd this is a new low, even for you. You should seek professional help, but I kind of enjoy being a spectator to your misery.
@jakequery Our uncle, Merle Bettenhausen from Indianapolis, please and thank you! All threes brothers (uncles Merle and Tony and father Gary) are now reunited in the afterlife with their mother Valerie and father Tony.
Thankfully you and everyone are okay. It didn’t used to be this way on West 38th Street… I wonder what changed? We all know the answer, but we can’t talk about it. So many of certain elements of the younger generation seem to have no respect for the lives and property of others. A real downhill slide on display. It’s saddening to see this happening in our hometown.
@RealDanODowd@RealDawnProject@RealDanODowd incredibly narcissistic of you to take credit. Trying to ban FSD all these years and then taking credit for Tesla’s progress? How many kids have been hit and how many crashes would have happened if you had your way? If bullshit was music you would lead an orchestra.
@RealDanODowd@Tesla@elonmusk@RealDanODowd If Tesla FSD software “puts people in danger every day” you would have quite a collection of major collision accidents to post. But you don’t. Because you are a fraud. You refuse to acknowledge the accidents FSD software prevents.

@RealDanODowd@RealDanODowd Your Tesla-bashing posts get more ridiculous every time. This isn’t about safety with you, it’s personal. Give up and lose gracefully instead of looking like the ass in the image you just posted.
