A Native woman pulled into a gas station because she realized she was being followed by a truck. Moments later, ICE agents surrounded her and escorted her to one of their vehicles.

This is a woman whose ancestors lived on this land for thousands of years before the United States even existed.

A Native woman, on her own ancestral land, being treated like a foreigner by the federal government in 2026.

The Fourth Amendment protects people from being unreasonably stopped or detained, and the federal government cannot lawfully target people simply because of their race or ethnicity.

So why did ICE agents stalk and kidnap this woman?

This stopped being about immigration a long time ago.

Venezuela mira el mapa de América Latina y encuentra pocos brazos extendidos.

Brasil, bajo el gobierno de Lula, bloqueó la entrada de Venezuela a los BRICS. Cerró una puerta financiera y geopolítica en un momento de asfixia.

Colombia se mueve dentro del lenguaje de la democracia liberal y repite la verborrea que circula desde Washington.

El progresismo habla de “dictadura”. Las declaraciones oficiales piden una transición. México mantiene un tono diplomático, equilibrado, cuidadoso. Tibio. El respaldo estratégico sigue siendo limitado.

En medio de ese aislamiento ocurrió algo que debería haber sacudido al continente. Estados Unidos secuestró al presidente venezolano.

Una operación terrorista que dejó más de cien personas muertas. Hubo incursiones armadas, explosiones, ataques a civiles. La capital de un país sudamericano fue bombardeada.

Las imágenes circularon unos días y luego el flujo informativo siguió su curso. Las cancillerías guardaron silencio o emitieron comunicados pendejos.

América Latina continuó con su agenda cotidiana. El mensaje nos quedó muy claro: acá cada quien se salva como puede.

Bajo esa presión es que el gobierno venezolano se ve obligado a negociar. Ha tenido que pactar, ceder y buscar respiros tácticos.

Parte de la izquierda, sobre todo la europea, observa estos movimientos desde una tribuna moral. Si en Venezuela están dialogando con los gringos, sus agresores, es porque se vendieron. Porque la cúpula chavista claudicó. Porque son unos cobardes.

Estos purísimos y verdaderos revolucionarios de izquierda —sobre todo los inmaculados y auténticos rebeldes anglosajones y europeos— siempre quieren enseñarnos.

Son sectores de la izquierda occidentalizada, eurocéntrica —una suerte de extrema izquierda delirante— que confunden radicalidad con pureza moral.

En lugar de pensar estratégicamente, se convierten en predicadores. Hacen moral. Se suben a un pedestal desde el cual todo el mundo está equivocado menos ellos.

No se embarran las manos. Permanecen impecables porque critican a todos y nunca asumen el riesgo de gobernar, negociar o equivocarse. En su ultrarradicalidad terminan siendo tan conservadores como la derecha, porque dejan intacto el statu quo.

La historia, sin embargo, es despiadada con estos puristas.

Después de la revolución bolchevique, Rusia estaba igualmente aislada. Sin apoyo externo. Los bolcheviques negociaron con Alemania el Tratado de Brest-Litovsk.

Lenin lo planteó: había que ceder territorio, detener la guerra, consolidar lo poco que tenían en lugar de lanzarse a una confrontación militar que no podían ganar.

Flexibilidad táctica, sin ingenuidad estratégica.

Se cedieron territorios enteros, con sus poblaciones incluidas. Ni Stalin ni Trotski lo comprendieron del todo en ese momento; ambos mostraron ambigüedades. Fue Lenin quien insistió en la necesidad de esa flexibilidad para preservar la revolución.

Mao hizo algo similar. Selló una alianza estratégica con Chiang Kai-shek y el Kuomintang, las mismas fuerzas que estaban persiguiendo y matando a los comunistas.

Muchos criticaron esa decisión. China vivía una guerra civil: el Kuomintang contra el Partido Comunista. Entonces Japón invadió y arrasó el país. Si los chinos seguían desangrándose entre sí, Japón se quedaría con todo.

Mao forzó una alianza con su enemigo histórico para enfrentar al invasor. Cuando Japón fue derrotado, la guerra civil se reanudó. El enemigo principal había cambiado. El aliado circunstancial volvió a ser enemigo.

Eso es flexibilidad táctica. A veces hay que hacer cosas tapándose la nariz para poder sobrevivir. Si convertimos todo conflicto en guerra frontal, entramos en batallas donde tenemos todas las de perder.

Hay que saber cuándo dar un paso atrás, cuándo moverse al costado, cuándo retroceder dos para avanzar tres más adelante.

Sin esa flexibilidad no se entiende la política.

Si no hacemos política para transformar el mundo y nos limitamos a predicar desde la superioridad moral, no cambiaremos nada. Proclamamos una verdad abstracta que no altera la realidad. Y al final conservamos lo mismo que decimos combatir.

Transformar implica intervenir. Implica ensuciarse las manos. Implica hacer alianzas, muchas veces con sectores que no son revolucionarios, que no comparten nuestro programa ni nuestros principios.

Es la política del ego aislado: yo tengo la verdad, nadie más la tiene; yo soy coherente, los demás son débiles. Mucha prédica y poca transformación.

Todos los procesos revolucionarios que han cambiado sus países lo hicieron interviniendo políticamente. Cometieron errores, porque quien actúa se equivoca. Pero construyeron alianzas amplias y entendieron el momento histórico. En ciertos contextos tuvieron que coaligarse con sectores incómodos. Y lo hicieron porque era necesario.

Eso es lo que no ven muchos de los dogmáticos. En su pureza inmaculada no cambian el mundo. Se quedan en la denuncia moral, desde el pedestal.

No saben que la política se hace en el barro.

هذه الدفعة باعتها الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية لشركة مرتبطة بممول من ممولي حملة ترمب الانتخابية واسمها فيتول. ولكن لمن باعت هذه الشركة النفط الفنزويلي الذي حصلت عليه من ترمب؟
للصين! أقسم بالله العظيم!!!!
يعني اختطفوا الرئيس وقصفوا البلاد وهددوا من هم في الحكم واستولوا على النفط وتحكموا ببيعه ومنعوا بيعه لأي جهة سواهم وبالتالي قطعوا الطريق على الصين التي كانت ستحصل على النفط الفنزويلي الذي نهبوه.. كل هذا حتى يبيعوه هم للصين!

طيب ما الفرق بالنسبة للصين؟ تدفع ١٠$ زيادة للبرميل الواحد. كانت تشتري النفط الفنزويلي بالسوق السوداء (رغم الحصار الأمريكي) بسعر مخفض ١٥$ للبرميل عن السعر المتداول. الآن تشتريه من شركة فيتول الأمريكية بسعر مخفض ب ٥$ للبرميل عن السعر المتداول.

ICE HARASS AFRICAN UBER DRIVER BASED ON HIS ACCENT

In the wake of the brutal killing of Renee Nicole Good, the streets of Minneapolis have become a hunting ground for US Border Patrol and Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) - a "law enforcement" agency increasingly acting like a state-sponsored militia.

This viral footage captures a Somali Uber driver being targeted for nothing more than his existence at work. The exchange reveals the raw, racist logic of President Trump’s "Border Patrol", which was operating hundreds of miles from any border.

When the driver asks why he is being singled out, the agent’s response is a chilling admission of systemic profiling: "I can hear you don’t have the same accent as me, that’s why I’m interested."

While the driver is simply trying to earn a living, federal agents were "impeding his income". Reflecting the terror felt across the city after Renee Good was shot in the head just days ago, the driver admits the stakes: "If I leave, I'm afraid you mother****ers might just shoot me."
The driver also highlights the deliberate lack of transparency within the US’ state militias. He questions the lack of body cameras, noting that agents prefer to "delete the video and make [their] own stuff" rather than be held to the standards of law.

لا أريد أن أصدق أن ترمب لا يريد أن تحكم ماريا كورينا ماتشادو فنزويلا لمجرد أنها قبلت جائزة نوبل للسلام التي كان يريدها له!

بالعقل.. إذا كان هدف ترمب في فنزويلا هو الحصول على النفط فمعناه يحتاج للاستقرار وهو أمر لن تحققه له ماتشادو بكل تأكيد لأن وصولها الحكم يعني بالضرورة هدم المنظومة البوليفارية، أو المحاولة على الأقل، وهذا سيدخل البلاد في مواجهة أهلية لن يكون سهلاً السيطرة عليها.

هذه نقطة.

والنقطة الثانية أن ديلسي رودريغيس الرئيسة المؤقتة هي أيضاً وزيرة النفط وتعرف كل التفاصيل ولديها كل المفاتيح. فهي أفضل من ماتشادو بالنسبة لترمب.

في الوقت نفسه لا أتخيل أن ديلسي يمكن أن تخون عهد أسرتها فهي ابنة مناضل خضع للتعذيب والأسر والقتل على يد الاستخبارات الأمريكية، وهي تشافيستا حتى النخاع ومتعمقة في الفكر اليساري أكثر من مادورو على المستوى الفكري، وشقيقها خورخي رودريغيس رئيس البرلمان وأحد مفكري الثورة البوليفارية. فكيف ستخون العهد وتعطي ترمب ما يطلبه حتى تنجو من مصير مشابه لمصير مادورو؟ لا أعرف!

وعودة لترمب لا أظن أن إدارته تدرك كثيراً من خفايا الأمور في فنزويلا ولا أظن أنها تفهم المشهد جيداً، وهو ما عهدناه من الإدارات الأمريكية في تعاملها مع ملفات الدول التي تريد السيطرة عليها فتتورط فيها.
