Downey City Library has used Instagram to advertise that they're hiring for library positions. Engagement from the community in the comment section was awesome to see - someone asked about hours, age requirement to apply, and hourly rate and staff replied to them! #INFO246w620

@laceykatx I agree that it's a missed opportunity. After going over the readings for this week, the social media platforms they went over serve different purposes- while one platform may send a message effectively the same cannot be said about another social media platform.

@cerebro_errante @VThebookdragon I found out LA County libraries did when I shadowed a local librarian last year! It's such an amazing program and being able to see the interaction between the community and the library staff was really wonderful. I could tell a lot of the community appreciated this service.

@emmacpierce7 Yes! Maybe even consider taking it to-go and driving straight to the beach and it enjoy it by the water. We're equidistant from Manhattan, Redondo, and Hermosa beach!

@itsnikkeeesjsu Hi Nikoletta! If you like udon, try Kotohira. Shin Sen Gumi has multiple locations here but they have a drive-thru ramen location that is worth trying. There is also a great ice cream place called Kansha Creamery. Their Mr. Universal flavor is amazing!
