NEW: Striking workers in Iowa have won a 6-month standoff against Ingredion, a huge multinational food manufacturer.
After making record profits, the company wanted to slash workers' pay, benefits, and vacation—and fire some for striking.
Instead, all workers won a 15% raise.
Join members of @dsaiowacity and us Thursday night at 6:30 at the BCTGM 100G picket line outside of Ingredion (across the street from Lucita's Diner)! They have been on strike for 157 days, fighting for a fair contract.
Please sign this petition from our comrades in Quad Cities DSA! This is part of their campaign to fight against the private school vouchers in Iowa that will take money out of our public schools!

If you can get in the pit you can get out to the picket line.
Solidarity with our fellow workers in Cedar Rapids. Get out and stand with them at the plant any day of the week. Join ICDSA there every Thursday, we carpool from Iowa City.

Today is their 150th day on the picket line. Join @dsaiowacity members and us tomorrow (Thursday) at 6:30 PM when we go to the line to support the workers in their fight!
BCTGM 100G is entering their 124th day on strike. Greedy Ingredion refuses to bargain in good faith with our local workers. Show up at any time during the day at the picket line across the street from Lucita's Diner to support the union struggle against corporate greed!
I support @BCTGM Ingredion workers in their 20th week on strike in Cedar Rapids. If Ingredion can return $250 million this year to shareholders and pay its CEO $10 million last year, it can afford a fair contract that does not increase health costs, decrease wages, or cut jobs.
