#GitHub can be down, but Git has never been down and never will be, because it's decentralized, and it doesn't even make sense to say "it is down". Similarly, many other decentralized protocols can never "be down".

Always keep a list of upcoming bite-sized tasks in order to stay in the zone.
If the next few tasks are big enough, break them down into smaller ones first.
