“I should go to the gym.” That doesn’t actually motivate you—it just makes you feel guilty when you don’t. Your brain doesn’t work on should. It works on wants and needs.
If you want to build a habit, stop forcing it and start finding a reason to want it.

A wise YouTuber once told me “your first 50 videos are most likely going to suck no matter what, just go out there and make the videos”.
As someone who just started their YouTube journey, I’m trying to follow that advice, but I do agree, it’s hard to put out content you know just isn’t that good.
@the_code_brew @webdevcody@t3dotgg Honestly, upload the “garbage”. You’re probably harder on yourself than anyone else is going to be, and the content you don’t have scripted probably isn’t as bad as you think

@thekitze It just keeps getting better from here. My daughter is 1 1/2, and her calling out to me and running to me to play with her is the best feeling in the world.
On the other side of it, her crying out for me when I need to leave is the most heartbreaking thing
