@ButchX3 Yeah, we can see that on the quality of your content :D
Maybe a fine balance between video length and a more regular schedule can be found. YT algorithm is nasty
when there is no video upload for a couple of days ( (not asking for more videos just giving honest advice)
@ButchX3 Would suggest you to build a strong audience over a long period of time first on one game genre (unfortunately). Then do the switch.
Also, be more consistent, shorter videos (20 mins), but every 2 days. Inconsistency on Youtube kills channels way more than multiple games genre.
@ButchX3 I follow what have been said on that thread: It might be a good idea to build and consolidate your audience with a type of games (that have good stories) before moving on something else.
@ButchX3 Your videos are very well made and entertaining. One of the few really good story tellers on YT.
My issue with the most recent videos is that we (or I) cannot relate to what you are going through (GrayZone mostly), and most of all the stories don't have any goal per se.
@Julii__an@Rich_Harris 2. To stay in line with how Svelte works. From what I see on GitHub, they change a lot of class internally to method call instead.
3. I prefer to see createCounter everywhere in the code than new Counter(). Very opinionated π I guess reason #1 is the most objective
Hey @Rich_Harris,
Would love to hear your opinion about this?
I don't see a any example using the class version of runes. Is it considered a bad practice?
It seems to be more intuitive than just using a function.
@Julii__an@Rich_Harris A few reasons :)
1. It hides the fact that I am using a class. If tomorrow I want to change the way I am creating the counter ( for the example from class to a simple objet). I would simply change the function and not all my code
1/2
@Rich_Harris Phew, glad to know.
I wanted to make sure I wasn't too far off using almost exclusively runes inside classes.
If they are legit, it might be a good idea to put some example with those in the Svelte 5 doc, right?
