"Major sewage pollution in rare chalk stream stops extraction of drinking water."
Not happy with polluting a chalk stream @thameswater contaminates a borehole supplying @AffinityWater with drinking water.
I'm an AW customer, they trying to get me back?
https://t.co/1FCnk0n4mA
As I type this there are 4 tankers outside
Our premises, 4/5 TW vans… however I don’t think they are dealing with the real problem…. Just a fix until the next time!!!@financepaul
Thames Water customer with a young baby?
This is what you're going to get, sewage flooding into your home. Don't expect anything even remotely resembling customer service.
And @Ofwat and @CCWvoice do what exactly?
NOTHING!!!
Maybe we need some of our CSP artists to create a piece of art that will get Thames Water’s attention…
we can’t keep putting up with poo in our streets 🤮
[ 'Sirens of Sewage' - a new art installation in Whitstable by the amazing @JasondeCaires]
Category 1 pollution in Misbourne. The @EnvAgency eventually conceded that the two Chiltern Tunnels could significantly impact the adjacent groundwater migration pathways. Their investigation should look at the possibility that HS2 tunnels could be contributing to this problem.
@PJennings88@EnvAgency Hi, Paul. Did they say that the 2 HS2 tunnels could have worsened the situation along The Misbourne? I did not realise anyone was admitting that 😟 The sewage leaks are dire in CSP at the moment
Massive pollution event taking place throughout the River Misbourne valley right now.
The chalk stream is being poisoned and @AffinityWater have shutdown down a borehole due to the groundwater supply being contaminated with sewage.
The @EnvAgency; shrug their shoulders 🤬🤬👇
@MATatBucks Good stuff, but PLEASE help #ChalfontStPeter to a Proper Resolution of sewer infrastructure investment. This evening pic sewer flooding our village centre. @thameswater water tankers pumping out sewer 24/7 to help alleviate sewer surges since beg Jan - looks like it's working?
