Iran: #ManouchehrFallah, 43, is the sole guardian of his daughter.
He faces the baseless charge of “waging war against God” (moharebeh) and has been sentenced to death. His death sentence has been upheld by the Supreme Court, and he is at imminent risk of execution.

🚨TRAGIC: While the world focuses on other conflicts, the Islamic Republic of Iran executed a 19-year-old boy today.
His name is Erfan Esfandiari. He was his parents’ only child.
He did not kill anyone. He did not carry a weapon. His only “crime,” according to the regime, was opening his door to shelter protesters fleeing from security forces.
Erfan was one of 12 young men charged in the Alikhani Square case in Isfahan after being arrested during the January 2026 uprising. Yesterday, all 12 were moved to quarantine. Today, the regime hanged him.
This is a government so afraid of a generation that refuses to stay silent that it executes teenagers for showing basic compassion.
Say his name. The regime is trying to erase him. His grieving parents are left with nothing not even the freedom to mourn openly.
My deepest condolences to the Christians of Jordan.
I pray that God’s peace, strength, and comfort surround you during these painful times. I stand with you wholeheartedly, in solidarity, sorrow, and prayer.
My heart breaks not only for the Christians of Jordan but for persecuted Christians across the Middle East and Nigeria, who continue to suffer violence, hatred, and persecution because of their faith.
Your suffering is our suffering. Your pain is our pain. You are not alone, and you will not be forgotten.
My name is Cesira Sonnino (that's me in the middle, between my brothers Mario and Sandro). I was born in Rome, in January 1940.
On 23 October 1943, the three of us were led hand in hand to the gas chamber at #Auschwitz.
Remember us, please.
Le jour précédant son anniversaire, Eitan a été abattu et tué par Hamas en rentrant chez lui avec sa famille le matin du 7 octobre, son père, sa mère et sa sœur de huit ans ont également été assassinés ce jour-là.
Eitan was shot and murdered by Hamas on his way home with his family on the morning of October 7, one day before his fifth birthday. His father, mother, and eight-year-old sister were also murdered.
We will never forget. 🥀
@CreatorJamesF@dailybruin I disagree. Lady Russell had the best intentions in mind. She was trying to help her ward avoid poor choices and penury. She happens to be wrong. And eventually she comes around.
Do not be a chronological snob.
'Chronological snobbery' having been defined by C. S. Lewis 'the uncritical acceptance of the intellectual climate common to our own age and the assumption that whatever has gone out of date is on that account discredited. Was it ever refuted (and if so by whom, where, and how conclusively) or did it merely die away as fashions do? . . . From seeing this, one passes to the realisation that our own age is also a ‘period’, and certainly has, like all periods, its own characteristic illusions. They are likeliest to lurk in those widespread assumptions which are so ingrained in that age that no one dares to attack or feels it necessary to defend them.'
My chin is weak. I find it hard to make decisions. For years I had been caught between the two stools of security on the land and rich-scented life on the exotic islands of literature.
I wasn't really a writer. I had seen a strange beautiful light on the hills and that was all…
