Heartbreaking 💔: Indian Bank Chief Manager in Head Office, Chennai, Sh Kanishq Vajpayee committed su!cide today by jumping off the fourth floor of our Bank’s Head Office Building. RIP 🕯️
I am opposed to late sitting and holiday working.
And I have practised what I preach .
My last branch was in delhi 500 mt away from my bank head office and I used to ensure that all my co worker leaves branch by 5.15 and by 5.30 branch is locked from outside .
In 2019 One day my SRM was coming out of head office around 5.30pm and I was entering head office he said krishna jee aapke branch visit karna tha aaj maine kaha kal aayega because my branch is closed it is 5.30 .
He said he has time on his hand where he should go I said you can visit sector 12 that branch will be open till 6.30 .
Due to this timing discipline my branch was most in demand by employees for posting and this was one branch customer services was outstanding because all staff used to be happy and always enjoyed their duty .
One must not do late sitting and say big no to holiday working .
As a branch head never opened branch on a holiday not even for audit and half yearly and quaterly closing .
Your monthly mobile recharge: ₹300 📱
MLA’s monthly mobile allowance: ₹15,000
In an era of unlimited calls, messages and data, a ₹15,000 monthly mobile allowance is hard to justify.
Why should taxpayers bear such inflated allowances?
Completely unjustifiable.
We had all believed that the long-pending demand of 5 Day Banking was finally settled in the Bipartite Settlement. It was a historic achievement, and we were told it would be implemented soon. But even after 2 long years, not a single concrete step has been taken to operationalise it. Instead of action, we got delays, justifications and finally-another new committee on 5 Day Banking!
How many committees, more? How many more years of wait? Are we to be taken for granted?
This is not the first time. The same story has repeated itself – commitments, announcements, timelines, and then silence. Our members have waited for 5 Day Banking for two years, and still we are moving in circles. This is nothing but a complete failure of leadership and accountability. #5daysbanking

@ChVenkatachalam@rupamsmail Thank You CHV Sir and Rupam Roy Sir.
Only Because of You, Bankers will go to office Today i. e. On Saturday.
You failed twice. One in March 2024 and another on 27.09.2026.
Mandatory leave: Five-Day Banking is still pending—but why are banks not implementing mandatory holidays despite clear RBI guidelines?
Why are union leaders silent on enforcement?
Bankers deserve answers, accountability and action—not just circulars and endless meetings. Leadership must deliver.

BALCK SATURDAY
Another Saturday, bankers are back at work while #5DaysBankingNow remains unfulfilled. Today is Black Union Saturday—a symbol of disappointment, frustration and lost faith in leadership. Bankers stood ready for action; now they deserve answers. UFBU must take responsibility. #BlackSaturday
Thank you Rupam Roy for forcing us go to office today otherwise the officers could have gone for 3days visit to their home.
Exit Union, Leave AIBOC , Leave Rupam Roy @rupamsmail

Pure SBI me ek leader nahi hai jo challenge kare?
Sabne mu sil rakha hai? Gajab hai bhai.
You yourself are responsible for this failure. It's your duty to select best possible.
First meeting deferred.
Second meeting says, “Let’s have a physical meeting.”
Then another meeting, (No Samosa)
and another meeting… (No tea)
Meeting after meeting, but where is the 5-Day Banking?
Bankers are fed up with this endless cycle. Enough is enough. UFBU must take responsibility and resign.
