Our latest work with the @cybercarto project has just been published in Cartography and Geographic Information Science: A systematic review of application development in augmented reality navigation research https://t.co/vv40oTkfbd
Our latest paper, discussing the different spatial aspects (size, scale, environment, etc) in AR apps for (geo-)spatial data viz. Summary also in video format here: https://t.co/pqlITVKTeq
@psybercity Figured as much, I have enjoyed reading the books *so* much, I'd rather not ruin it by watching a TV adaptation that (from what I've heard) doesn't do them justice!
Anything particularly wrong with the TV series? Or just generally wrong vibe?
This paper presents the Agent-Based Modelling Framework for Unity3D (ABMU), an ABM framework developed for use within the widely used Game Engine (GE) Unity3D by @cheliotK@CASAUCL https://t.co/8d8F9l74oT
Student #VDimakis is, against all law, being murdered in Greece's prisons. An inmate at Korydallos prison Vassilis is an undergraduate & scholarship holder of Political Sciences.
After been illegally denied his right to study, he's been forced on another hunger & thirst strike.
@DesignedByBlind@citygeographics Very valid point, thanks! This is why I went for a full 3D environment, at least for wheelchair users we can include critical terrain characteristics (steps, floor incline). But the model is kept purposefully abstract, so it may adapt and include limitations as needed.
My (first ever in a peer-reviewed journal, woop!) paper "An agent-based model of public space use" has been published in Computers, Environment and Urban Systems. Get it while it's hot here: https://t.co/K5gW2LhOMW
@Varoudis No unfortunately not, this paper was focussed solely on presenting the model, I would definitely like to do a follow-up though, comparing it with other approaches.
@tmccormick@ElsevierConnect I am not a fan of paywalls and subscription-based paper access either, as I said I am currently trying to figure out open access process. Cheers!
@tmccormick@ElsevierConnect I am currently in the process of figuring out fees etc. 3. Relatively easy fix, I am always happy to share pre-print. 4. LOL @ "choose" to make unavailable, as if ECRs (esp unfunded ones) have a choice in the matter. 5 and final: I hear you and agree with you,
