Deeply shocked and saddened to learn about the untimely demise of India's shooting legend and an exceptional coach and mentor, Shri Jaspal Rana Ji.

Indian sports have lost not just a gem but one of its proudest pillars, whose remarkable achievements brought immense glory to the nation and inspired generations of sportspersons. His passing at such an early stage is a profound loss to the sporting fraternity.

In this moment of grief, my thoughts are with his family, friends, students, and all those whose lives he touched. May the Almighty grant him eternal rest and comfort those left behind.

Had the honour to hand over a facsimile of two handwritten epigrams by the influential Indian author Rabindranath Tagore to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Tagore was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913. The poems were located in the Swedish National Archives. The gift is a testament to the long-standing relations between Sweden and India.

My visit to Sweden was marked by several important outcomes that will add new momentum to India-Sweden relations.

From elevating our ties to a Strategic Partnership, launching the Joint Innovation Partnership 2.0 and the India-Sweden Technology and Artificial Intelligence Corridor, to setting an ambitious goal of doubling bilateral trade in the next five years, the discussions were highly productive.

I thank the people of Sweden, the Government of Sweden and PM Ulf Kristersson for the warmth and friendship.

Landed in Oslo, Norway. I’m grateful to Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre for the warm welcome at the airport. This is the first Prime Ministerial visit to Norway in over four decades. I’m confident it will add vigour to the India-Norway friendship. I will call on Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja and hold talks with Prime Minister Støre. Tomorrow, on the 19th, the 3rd India-Nordic Summit will take place in Oslo, presenting a wonderful opportunity to meet my Nordic counterparts.

Towards a Cancer-Free Maharashtra: Strengthening Accessible and Affordable Healthcare

Inaugurated and unveiled the stone plaque of the Cancer Hospital under the Public-Private Partnership model, established through the joint initiative of Pune Municipal Corporation and Apulki Healthcare in Ward No. 9, along with DCM Sunetratai Pawar.

This state-of-the-art cancer hospital, established on Pune Municipal Corporation land while upholding social commitment, marks an important step towards expanding quality, efficient and accessible cancer treatment services for citizens.

Cancer can be completely cured if diagnosed and treated at the right time. Keeping this in mind, both the Central and State Governments have included cancer care under various healthcare schemes to ensure timely and affordable treatment for every citizen.

A large-scale Cancer Grid is also being developed across Maharashtra to make treatment services more efficient, accessible and well-coordinated, ensuring better healthcare support for patients across the state.

Minister Chandrakantdada Patil, MP Dr. Medhatai Kulkarni, MLA Bhimrao Tapkir ji, MLA Rahul Kool, Pune Mayor Manjushatai Nagpure and other dignitaries were present.

In Bengaluru today, held a strong press conference exposing how the Opposition blocked the Women’s Reservation Bill for decades.

Later, I interacted with the media and clearly explained how the 50% increase in seats after delimitation will massively benefit Karnataka & other Southern states.

Modi Ji’s vision is clear: Not to diminish the voice of the South, but to strengthen it even further.

Since 1992, BJP, has consistently supported the women reservation bill.

On the other hand, through repeated delays and postponement the Congress party has stalled the Women’s Reservation Bill for years.

In the Lok Sabha, Mulayam Singh Yadav even said the Bill would pass only “over his dead body,” such was the hatred towards women’s reservation.

The Congress has once again blocked the fast tracking of the implementation.

ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಮಹಿಳಾ ದ್ವೇಷವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಮಸೂದೆ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ನಾವು ಬದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದು,
ಈ ಹೋರಾಟವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.
